first day done. I found that really hard - probably due to last of sugar. The lack of food wasn't too bad, but felt dizzy and quite irritable. Perhaps too ambitious starting 5:2 when the kids are on holiday ?? Might be a bit easier if I was distracted at work. Oh, and I may have convinced OH to join me on 5:2 for moral support. Next fast day is Thursday, then I am planning to fast again on Monday - when I am traveling for work trip. Again perhaps poor timing, but I am sick of waiting for the "best time". After putting on 2 stone, the "best time" hasn't come yet so I get on with it !
Night time for me - 26th fast almost over.
Today's been ok, managing now to keep nearly all my calories til tea time & after. Only having cup a soup or miso soup at lunchtime & plenty of water. Now off to bed , good luck to all you fasters across the Atlantic who have a few hours to go :clover:
This is my 5th fast day. I managed to hold out until 2:00pm and had 1/2 cup egg whites with lite cheese shavings and 1 1/2 c watermelon for a total of 150. Chicken breast on the BBQ with zucchini/mushroom/tomato fry and a small salad for dinner.

I actually look forward to my Monday fasts as its nice break after a weekend of "eating". I hope my Thursday fasts get easier.

2nd weigh in and I'm down a total of 3.8 lbs and 1/2 inch after 2 weeks
Had a hard fasting day today, but i stuck at it.

I put on a pound, but i put it down too my last weeks fast days both being at the start of the week, i allowed fried breakfasts in work and ate some evenings. So i put on a pound, i dislike using my fast says at the start of the week, but dont have the will power to do it in work yet.

I had a ready meal tonight of 470 cals, plus two 10cal jellies when i needed them. Tried to watch The Hobbit earlier but i could not settle at all, my parents then each had an ice cream which didnt help matters. I must of drank 5 or 6 cups of green tea today, normally i do a maximum of 3 as im not a big tea drinker.

The best thing is, i put on weight but im carrying on again, that pound isnt staying around for long ;)
Fasting today, saved all the food for one meal for maximum time of 20 hours fasting before food. Then had terriyaki salmon filet with bag of frozen broccoli and water. :victory:
It's a done deal today! It's only my second fast, but very surprised at how much easier today was than last Thursday (and honestly, Thursday wasn't really bad).
Pretty much did the same menu as last time, progresso chicken noodle soup, asparagus, and a greek yogurt. I'm still needing to spread it out a little, but kudos to all of those able to have the one meal.
