First fast day for me! Have had a bowl of vegetable soup and am having baked chicken and roasted veg for dinner. Not gonna lie am ready for my dinner but am drinking loads! Need to keep myself occupied as I think that's my main problem is I eat when I'm bored. Hope everyone is feeling ok!
Well, I've got back from the supermarket where I bought loads of food...but don't worry it was all on the list and was mainly vegetables and chicken! I got two big bags full of veg, half a bag of meat (chicken and fish) and a load of spices so I can make anything I fancy from the hairy dieters book. It's going to be their Spanish chicken tonight. Didn't feel hungry at all until I got home but feeling better now I've had a couple of mugs of vegetable stock (10 cal!).

Going back to inputting the data from the monthly weigh in now...
It's still morning here in the US, as I sit here with my black coffee reading all of your posts. Looking forward to this day of fasting (strange to say that!), as I enjoyed meals out this weekend. I've got my aunt and uncle doing this now. When I first told her about it last month, she thought it was crazy! Ha! Have a good week everyone!
I am from the Uk and have just discovered this website.
This is my 5th week at fasting on Mondays and Thursdays. Today i have let myself down for the first time since doing this & i feel utterly miserable for it. My own fault i know.
I just got so hungry at lunch that i ate some dry toast. I know it's not that bad, but i have already planned today's calories intake, so now i am going to go over the 500 once i have eaten my ready meal this evening :(
Fasting today too. My 13th, feeling lucky so far!! Had my last meal at 2pm yesterday (we were away for a few days and had my meal at lunchtime very unusually) and am going through to 7pm tonight to bring meals back into their correct 'timing'. I have survived on 3 cups of green tea, 2 cups of Pu'erh black tea and a large glass of water and am feeling fab  . Have just finished preparing the Hairy Dieters Rich & Meaty bolognese which I'll serve with pasta for OH & 3 kids but will have on a plate of raw spinach-yum. Following that, will have bowl of natural yoghurt & blueberries-still with calories to spare if I fancy something later on. Well done fellow Monday fasters-nearly there!!! X
Fast #10 for me today. Tummy already was hungry at 6:30am, I thought to myself "its going to be a long day" lol. But I'll make it through, just going to keep busy!

Don't worry, going a little bit over won't do major harm :) We all have blips, don't let it upset you.

If you want to try to keep within cals today afterall, could you maybe cut the portion of your ready meal down and bulk it out with a nice big salad instead? You can have the leftovers from the ready meal for lunch tomorrow so as not to waste it!
Early morning here on the west coast of Canada. Today is my 2nd fast day, and my first time trying it on a work day. Yesterday I was thinking about how meals and snacks are what I normally look forward to as they break up my long work day (I work 12 hour shifts)
I'm sipping my 250 calorie morning smoothie now and waiting to see what the day will bring!

Wish me :clover:
Hello Monday fasters
I am also fasting today & it feels good to be back in routine. Just coffee, one Bovril & water so far. I am looking forward to a ready meal of Crab Tagliatelle & then bed. I know I must get back into planning lower carb fast day meals. I have a sore shoulder today so can't do the ironing I had planned to but have been lazy just loading the washing machine & reading my Kindle. I hope all you new fasters have had a good day. My next fast day is Friday so it brackets a more indulgent weekend. Hope you all have a good week & I will be very interested in looking at the forum stats when Caroline has done her magic number crunching

For what it's worth, I agree with Moogie and reckon you'll feel SO much better and prouder if you can split your Ready Meal in two and bulk it out with veggies tonight and stick to your original goal of 500 cals. Enjoy it, whatever you end up doing!
Unfortunately not feeling too good on the fast today - dizzy and lightheaded. Probably due to my low blood pressure. I had this problem the with my first few fasts but things have been fine for the last 2 months. Luckily I work from home and won't be driving anywhere today but will take the dog out soon for a bit of fresh air! Never mind, not long til dinner!

Good luck Monday Fasters
I think it's better to eat a piece of dry toast than abandon for the day, well done you! So long as you are calorie restricting over the week, it'll all even out, particularly with the margin of error in calorie counting.

Anyway, I'm in a happy place today. Was fed up this morning but went to Crossfit, rowed, chatted, weight-lifted and pressup-ed and feel good now. Just sitting here waiting to eat my tea and feeling very well.

Hang in there anyone struggling, it does get easier.
If I had a brain I'd be dangerous....thought I had posted on here but can't find it, might be someplace else :) So, have a good day all x
Checking in for my second day! Great so far, barely peckish. 1 apple in.
Sparkdeco -
Also my 5th week and I've fallen off the wagon too was starving at lunch time so had some homemade soup and fruit. Reckon it'll be 750 cals by bedtime as I still intend to have planned dinner but maybe smaller portion.
Don't beat yourself up - tomorrow's another day!
