I had a big w/e with 2 meals out so I am choosing to ignore the weigh in this morning which showed I had put on half a kilo and just get back to it!

Happy to read this thread this morning...really, I logged on to see if there was any inspiration and I have just found it. Today I start my ninth fasting day but this morning the scales showed plus 2 kilos and I thought to myself "why am I bothering?". I have been good all week but time of the month has made an appearance on the scales and it is SO frustrating. Was thinking to chuck in the white flag but have decided against it after reading this thread. It isn't exactly a hardship, is it?

PS Black skies and the heavens have been open since 3am, here in "sunny" Turkey!
Black coffee, water and fruit tea (maybe a cuppa soup) until dinner tonight which I haven't decided on yet but probably fish and veg of some sort!

I'm with you all today, after a weekend of excess I shall start the week off on a good note. We have a weekend of entertaining looming so I have to get my fasts in, I was thinking I might even do a 4:3 this week but I'll get through 5:2 first! Hoping to book a sunshine holiday in early May so need to get serious about this.

I am doing a Monday fast today (My favourite day to fast). With a holiday and Easter I have been squeezing the fast days where I can and to be honest I am looking forward to getting back into a routine (Mon and Thurs).
Last week I found that saving up my calories for dinner worked really well. So will be trying that this week too.
Despite a crazy weekend I still lost weight on the scales today (Supper happy). There was loads of rugby in London over the weekend.
