Today is my 4th fast day. It's only 10:00 am and I'm already wishing I could eat more :-( I've made a large cup of flavoured tea with a bit of stevia for sweetener. I don't think I could do this plan without my DavidsTea! Having Bollywood Chai right now, and maybe Salted Caramel for lunch...mmmm
3rd fast day today. Feeling good :) Just had dinner and a fruit snack pot and I am feeling stuffed. Today was made easier largely because of being back at work (no time to think, never mind eat!)
Had some good comments about me looking thinner also :D
That's great Kristy! I had a busy morning which helped me, but this afternoon was a bit tricky at about 3oclock- had to get busy to take my mind off food!
Yay fast done. Was pretty easy today. Have been so. Use house sorting I didn't have time to eat even if I wanted to.
Just had my lentil and bacon soup and it was delicious.

Having lunch with husband tomz as he has a day off so looking forward to that.
I'm in today too, usual Monday fast.

Had to have a quick flit round Asda on the way home as we forgot to buy chicken yesterday for our stirfry tonight. It wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought it might be!

Hubby is outside fixing a neighbour's car at the moment so I guess we'll have the stirfry when he comes in.
Just finished my first fast day. I don't feel too hungry as I have eaten a few portions of fruit and I had a tin of soup for tea, feeling positive however i'm craving chocolate!
This is week 2 for me. Fasting on Monday - Thursday. I think I'll wait
til the one month mark to weigh myself. I have high hopes that this diet
will work for me. I have ate quite a lot especially after my fast days, so
I hope I'm still able to lose some lbs. It's encouraging to read all the comments here. Thanks to all.....
Fasting going ok today.Tried cauliflower rice for first time tonight it.I ate it but not sure about it. Not sure if I'll have it again - think its an acquired taste. Might just stick to small amount of rice instead or no rice just more veg.
Just completed my first fast day, and it went really well. I stuck to fruit/herbal teas, black coffee and water during the day and made some soup for my evening meal.
I need to lose quite a bit of weight so will be low-carbing in addition to fasting as this works well for me.
Looking forward to my next fast day.
First fast since taking a 2 week break over Easter holidays as was so busy meeting up with my sons friends which involved lunch meals decided not to bother. I put on 2lbs which I have decided is not bad considering I ate out quite a bit as well as a couple of takeaways. Was actually looking forward to fasting today and found it quite easy to get back to it, had a touch of dizziness mid evening but ate a small portion of fruit that I had allowed for within my 500 cals and felt ok.
I weighed myself this morning...... Mistake!! I had put on 1lb. I was so annoyed I did an impromptu fast today so I might do 3 this week. I had only green tea and water all day, was very good and refused an Oreo biscuit early evening :-) didn't even have my customary lunch time bovril.
Luckily I managed to lose the 1lb this afternoon (dodgy scales obviously) I managed 24 hours from dinner last night (roast) until dinner tonight. Had chicken in a tomato sauce with butter beans and spinach, oh and a 10 calorie jelly. It's a bit worrying because I find this so easy to do, thinking about it, it's much the same eating pattern that I had when I was younger. My busy social life didn't tie in with family meal times, so I would often eat breakfast and lunch and skip dinner. Feeling hungry isn't a stranger to me, just a forgotten one. I will weigh myself in the morning and post the score on the door on the tracker.
Hope everyone had a good day but thinking of our friends in Boston x
Forgot to say...... 3rd week, 5th fast
Hi, fasting today for the first time since Friday. It's going okay. 4 minute egg + 2 asparagus spears for bkfst and about 3 cups of veg soup I made for lunch. We'll see about supper after Zumba class (#2 today). I seem to have plenty of energy!

In my soup, I used a combination of my own chicken broth (no salt) and Kirkland chicken broth (440mg sodium) carrots, onions, garlic, celery, sliced napa cabbage, chopped mini-peppers, and one Italian turkey sausage for about 10 cups of soup total.Tasted great! The chicken broth has only 10 calories per cup. Can anyone explain to me why one would use bouillon cubes or powder when chicken broth is so low in calories, apart from vegetarian issues, of course?
Midway through my fast...busy day today so I don't have time to read 118 posts in this thread. Wow...what an active bunch! I decided to forego early meals and have drunk tea and coffee and kombucha today. A friend is coming over to use up some delicious organic veggies--am looking forward to whatever will be served.
Nice to see the clouds have finally burned off and that we have a bit of sun...
I think this is my 7th week of IF and it is going well. Good fasting for all the other fasters though since I'm on west coast time I suppose the fasting day is over for many.
Yes, winding down Monday Fast...Why so hard? May feel better when I get on the scale in the morning.
Good night!
