Had some good comments about me looking thinner also
Just had my lentil and bacon soup and it was delicious.
Having lunch with husband tomz as he has a day off so looking forward to that.
Had to have a quick flit round Asda on the way home as we forgot to buy chicken yesterday for our stirfry tonight. It wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought it might be!
Hubby is outside fixing a neighbour's car at the moment so I guess we'll have the stirfry when he comes in.
til the one month mark to weigh myself. I have high hopes that this diet
will work for me. I have ate quite a lot especially after my fast days, so
I hope I'm still able to lose some lbs. It's encouraging to read all the comments here. Thanks to all.....
I need to lose quite a bit of weight so will be low-carbing in addition to fasting as this works well for me.
Looking forward to my next fast day.
Luckily I managed to lose the 1lb this afternoon (dodgy scales obviously) I managed 24 hours from dinner last night (roast) until dinner tonight. Had chicken in a tomato sauce with butter beans and spinach, oh and a 10 calorie jelly. It's a bit worrying because I find this so easy to do, thinking about it, it's much the same eating pattern that I had when I was younger. My busy social life didn't tie in with family meal times, so I would often eat breakfast and lunch and skip dinner. Feeling hungry isn't a stranger to me, just a forgotten one. I will weigh myself in the morning and post the score on the door on the tracker.
Hope everyone had a good day but thinking of our friends in Boston x
In my soup, I used a combination of my own chicken broth (no salt) and Kirkland chicken broth (440mg sodium) carrots, onions, garlic, celery, sliced napa cabbage, chopped mini-peppers, and one Italian turkey sausage for about 10 cups of soup total.Tasted great! The chicken broth has only 10 calories per cup. Can anyone explain to me why one would use bouillon cubes or powder when chicken broth is so low in calories, apart from vegetarian issues, of course?
Nice to see the clouds have finally burned off and that we have a bit of sun...
I think this is my 7th week of IF and it is going well. Good fasting for all the other fasters though since I'm on west coast time I suppose the fasting day is over for many.
Good night!
