I'm in. First time on this site, but not first time fasting. I've been doing it on and off for a few months since I saw the Michael Mosely documentary. Had my husband and child at home for school holidays the last 2 weeks so been difficult to fast properly, but I'm back on track today. I usually skip breakfast, have a v small lunch then a small dinner. I had a round of gluten free bread with a slice of chicken and a few cherry tomatoes an hour ago, other than that it's blcak coffee and water all day. I haven't planned dinner so need to be careful when I get home. Happy fasting everyone.
Today is the first fast day of the week and my ninth overall. I'm happy with the results so far. A busy day of cleaning today as the kids started back to school so I can give their rooms a good going over. I am making a cajun chicken kebab for our tea tonight and, except for Oxo and coffee, have saved all my (450) calories for then. I hope every body has a good day and a good week.
I am fasting today. Only 8:25 am here, so I have a ways to go for the day. Already a little bit hungry (when recently I have found the fast days to be pretty easy). Hope black coffee and water will make me forget about it until this evening!
First time poster fasting today. This is my second week. So far it has been quite easy. I already feel a lot better even after only 2 fast days. I hope the weight loss happens too.
Yeah I'm starving too! Been on the herbal teas so far and that helps. When I started 7 weeks ago I had a small lunch and then dinner but I've started to try and skip lunch. Only completed a few fast days with out breakfast and lunch but I do struggle at lunch time. I think I need to figure out if the hunger is worst with lunch or without.

Have you notice how many times I've written "lunch" ? I think it's a sign! :lol:
Fasting today after having a high calorie weekend! Feeling quite hungry probably due to aforesaid weekend! Time for some vegetable stock I think.
First Fast today - 2.30pm and it's going ok - black coffee and green tea getting a hammering.
I'm in! Aside from a few early growlies around 7am, I'm getting on well with coffee. And feeling chuffed after yesterday's weigh-in (1st one since starting!) as I'm down by four pounds!
ooh i'm finding it hard today. Thought I had cracked it but I think today has been the most difficult. I am keeping busy and trying not to think of eating, which is strange really as i quite often don't get round to eating until afternnon on a non fast day. Oh well 3 hours to go to dinner. Can't come soon enough!!!
10AM here and I'm cruising along. About an hour ago I had a rumbly tum, but it has since quieted down! A cup of hot tea is next on the agenda.

I had 2 days of eating whatever and whenever over the weekend, but I did manage to walk 2 rounds of golf.....12 or so miles for the weekend. Also had my boot camp workout this morning at 5:45AM.

I am fasting too, haven't eat anything yet, and doing well. I am not even hungry, but I guess I will be closer to dinner :wink:.
My last meal was yesterday evening around 7 PM.

All going very well so far today - just realised it is now 3.30 and I have only had water and a fruit tea so far, not even a black coffee!

Starting to look forward to dinner, fish and veg, which will be around 6 x
My first post! I'm new to 5:2 - today is my 3rd fast day.

I'm going to start participating in the forums and hopefully that will help me stay focused and on track.
Count me in, fast no 13 today.

Alpen light bar for breakfast, no lunch and plenty of Green Tea, water and squash throughout the day at work. I must admit, I'm starting to find it 'easy-ish' to fast when in a working environment. (I may regret saying that!) Chicken fajitas for dinner and my second fast of the week will be on Thursday.

7/8 pounds lost for me so far. Good luck to all!
