Good luck to all fasting today! Onwards and downwards!

I initially found the thought of exercising on a fast day, pretty daunting. Thought I'd be weak and feel faint. But the reality is that it's actually pretty do-able (for me at any rate, I know it's different for everyone) and I agree it really kicks any hunger pangs to touch!
I've cycled to work this morning (8.8 miles each way) and have had nothing but black coffee, water and herbal tea. Will have all my calories in one meal this evening and although the bouts of uphill cycling on the way home this afternoon will feel a bit tough, I'll manage it and keep my mind on the good it's doing me!
Good luck, fellow fasters!
Shrinkingrose - I find the cycle home to be harder than the cycle in the morning. I think it does help with toning up as I notice the difference on weeks when i have not been able to cycle as much.
Biggest surprise is I'm actually finding it quite easy too!
My friend at work has started today so we're supporting each other well today.....it helps!

Staying at home today. Thankfully woke up at 12, so will only have to fast 6 hours until dinner, should help alleviate the sore throat as well
Starting my 6th week today I think

Cycle home is definitely harder! I'm hoping the fact that the sun is shining will help, as will the fact that I'll be dodging all the countless roadworks and traffic jams. The gusty wind right in my face, however, will possibly add to the challenge!!
If I'm not feeling too done in, I might really go for it and do my Couch To 5K run when I get home too - I'm only at the point where it's running for two lots of 10 minutes tonight, so it might be doable
Feeling lean and positive today, which is amazing really as I polished off half a bottle of red wine with my curry last night (Hairy Dieters Jalfrezi - yum - with big fat naan bread and wholegrain rice) and homemade raspberry swirled cheesecake.
Planning on a chicken & mushroom pasta dish for tea then off to the cinema. It'll just be drinks till then because I'm one of those people who finds it easier not to start eating.
Doubt I'll have lost anything this week as an Awayday from work involving lots of food and some alochol last Thursday will probably have snookered that. But I've lost an inch off my waist over the last couple of weeks, so it isn't all bad. It's just a bit longer to my goal...
Got an aerobic exercise DVD that I've started doing every weekday, so I'm hoping that will repair some of the damage.
