I'm in too. Got a bit of a cold and only did one Fast last week so looking forward to getting back on track. The Horizon documentary airs on SBS in Australia at 8.30 tonight so watch out for lots more Aussies in the next couple of weeks..
I'll be with you in the morning when you guys will be nearly done!
Have a good day everyone :clover:
I'm here in Aus. Ate a bit too much yesterday so really need a fast today.
It's only Sunday evening here yet. Just had my last meal of the day. Fasting now until 11am on Tuesday morning. I had brown rice pasta with xlean ground beef and pasta sauce. Only ate about half to two thirds of what I used to eat, and boy am I stuffed! The ol' stomach is definitely adjusting to smaller food portions and fasts! Can't wait to lose this full feeling as the fast continues! Enjoy your fast my fellow Monday fasters!
Monday morning here in Melbourne and I'm fasting today. This is my 2nd week.
I also weighed and measured this morning. I have lost 2cms off my waist, my body fat has gone from 31.4% to 29.6% and my weight has gone from 63.3 to 63.0kgs.
Not a huge change in my weight but at least it's gone down a little, and I think waist size is a better indicator for me!
I found after my first day of fasting that I was very tired and had a bad headache, but after the 2nd day I was fine. I've been spreading my calories out over 3 meals as I don't think I could manage a huge gap at this stage, but as time goes on and my body adjusts I might experiment with having only 1 or 2 meals in a day!
I'm fasting today too, usual Monday fast for me. I normally do Mon-Thurs, but thinking of going 4:3 again this week (Mon-Wed-Fri) because I did 4:3 last week after an impromptu fast on Sunday, and it went well. I have been battling sinus for a few weeks now though, and if that kicks in I'll stick to 2 days.

Warming up into a lovely sunny day (after a cold start 11 degrees brrrrr), so will try and get all my computer work finished early and head out into the sun.
Will be joining you in the morning. 4:3. Should be easy because having a root canal done. Not going to feel like eating much anyway. :-(
Finished Sunday supper a little over an hour ago. Will be fasting (tomorrow) Monday! Looking forward to it.
Hi All, Also fasting today. This is my 7th fast day and it is getting easier, or is that I am more organised? Had scrambled eggs and tomato for breakfast, herbal teas and black coffee throughout the day then I am having dry roasted veg salad with salad greens and broccoli and cannellini beans then WW jelly All for 469 cals.
Really chuffed.
I am joining in the morning. 8:54PM here in Massachusetts, I did not fast at all last week since was on vacation. Now back to work and fast tomorrow. So glad for all the support on this site!
Hi all this is my second week and my third fast day, i have lost one and a half kg so far and am feeling good, very cold in my part of Australia today hope i can last the day wish me luck.......
I'm confused about what you can't eat on fast days lol
I'm in too. 7:10 am in Dubai and here Monday is the 2'nd day of the week .
Good luck everyone
I am fasting today and pleased to say I now have a stationary bicycle on my front veranda to foster extra exercise. I have foot problems at present which deter me from walking far. But an exercise bike does the job really well, and causes no further inflammation on my poor heel.
Another Kiwi! Good to see you on the Board Juliewil10.
Did you see the documentary last night on TV One with John Hudson investigating fasting, speifically 5:2? It was good but not as good as the original BBC programme. My husband watched this at the weekend and shifted from "cynical" to "convert" - he starts next week.

I am fasting today too, but only my 3rd time and how much easier it is than the first days. I am feeling extremely clear and focussed at work and not hungry in the least. Roll on a few more kgs down!
