Fasting today Thursday 2nd May
01 May 2013, 20:28
Fasting today. This is my third fast and I feel I am quite looking forward to it. I am not so apprehensive as before. But it is early days yet.
I am fasting 2nd May, its my 7th fast and it does get easier, my second and third fasts were my hardest! I am starting not to dread them so much and look forward to not feeling guilty for eating!!
Me and hubby will be joining you when it gets to morning in the UK.

No idea how many fasts this is, I ran out of fingers and toes many weeks ago! ;)
It great to know that your not alone!!
I will be fasting Thurs when the UK gets there. Got to endure a buffet lunch at work though. Hope my willpower stays strong! :-)
Yes I am in too - today I didn't feel at all hungry so didn't bother with my 'souper' for breakfast - hoping I don't come to regret it...I am having a massage @ 1pm and I think I'll be gurgling by then LOL Luckily my therapist knows I am on the Fast and possibly will have watched the show on TV, if so we'll be discussing it for sure. Good luck all!
I'm fasting Thursday too. It does get easier, I've been doing it over 2 months, and there are occasional fast days where I feel hungry, but majority of the time now it's just another day, but one where I don't have to think about food at all.
I will be in to. I kind of wish I was back in Oz as it is only 5:15pm here in Athens GA. But my wife and I am coming to Oz next week for a couple of weeks. I seriously doubt we will be on 5:2 for those 2 weeks though:)
I'll be fasting too - will be part of Wildmissus gang of 36ers no food fast.... so will be water only until Friday morning/lunchtime - looking forward to it
I'll be in, in the morning! Only trouble is... the builders might finish our work tmw and we promised ourselves champagne. Could be bad on an empty tummy, but wouldn't feel right to wait till Friday. I'm sort hooping that they don't finish till Friday! After a whole year (on and off) what difference would one more day make?!
I'm fasting today. We're heading towards a huge weekend with Hubby throwing me a 50th birthday party on Saturday and family starting to arrive tomorrow. Will certainly need today's fast. Enjoy your fast everyone.
Golarne congrats on finishing the building work I know how that feels. We have been renovating since our daughter was 1 she is now 23 and were still going. So now we are building a new house as well!
I'm in, but going out - if you see what I mean; no of course you don't!
I'm fasting but going out with a friend for lunch, so will choose a salad option. If that's no good, will be fasting Friday insead.
Hi I'm new to all this so bear with me! I started the 5:2 using the 36 hr method, currently on my 3rd water and fruit tea day with 2 36rs having 500cals. I really like it this way.
I'm in! Didn't get too much sleep last night though so I'm hoping I can make it through my busiest day of the week without biting someone's head off. Decided to walk to uni this morning and feeling great!
