My 3rd fast day today, I was starving this morning but fought it off and now feel fine. Not sure what today will bring, but I had quite a big food day yesterday and over the weekend, still i've lost 2 pounds since last Thursday and i've gone slightly over my 600 calories on my fast day evening meal.
Will see if I can stick to it today!
Good luck everyone! Not sure I coudl do a 36 hour fast like some people are doing, not quite a 5:2 fast is it! :)
Morning All

I'm with wildmissus gang doing my 2nd 36'er so water/herbal tea/black tea only until Friday lunchtime for me
I'm hoping to be kept busy at work & I shall have a walk at lunchtime to get the euros for our holiday (yipee!) to keep me away from the kitchen whilst all the other staff are lunching!
Lots to do at home tonight so I'm hoping to get to bedtime without wavering, then its plain sailing from there!

Good luck to everyone today :clover:
Me. too I'm in but nearly there now. It's my fifth week and I actually look forward to fasting now, go figure!
I have all my calories in one meal, dinner, as I'm like others and once I start eating a little bit doesn't do it for me. I much prefer the decent dinner before bed. I never actually thought I'd look forward to fasting but I love the control over my food and whether I choose to eat or not.
Starting to get comfortable with the WOE eating now,
Cheers, good luck to all for the rest of the day :-)
Back home after a horrible day at work. The sort of day that would normally have me eating myself silly. And I am still on the fast. Have not felt too hungry. So well done me. Having said that I think my 500 calls for dinner might need to be adjusted to include a wee dram of whiskey.
Morning Thursday fasters, joining you all on my usual Thursday fast.
Lots of water and black tea until dinner which is 'savoury mince pie'.
Beautiful sunny, but cold, day in bonnie Scotland. Fairly cheers you up.
Have a fab day everyone.
I'm fasting today. 2nd fast this week. Not hungry but really having to talk myself into staying with it today. Don't know why. I usually enjoy them.H works and doesn't take food with him on fast days so I can't really let him down can I. :curse:
Yep, fasting today here too. DS is home feeling poorly so not sure how it will go...if he's not hungry it will be good; if I have to take him snacks all day, not so good! Weight loss has slowed quite a bit over the last couple of weeks so hoping he won't be hungry!
Hi all, Am another one on their 3rd fast.

Just had some greek yoghurt (0% fat of course!) and 2 oatcakes.(NB I read and did 5 days of the Overnight Diet and in it, the author suggests greek yoghurt fills you up longer than other yoghurts. I can't remember why - possibly to do with the amount of protein...?).

Today I will pass on lunch and only have an evening meal - my first 2 fasts were 500 cals split into 3 light meals - so not sure how well this will go. Will probably resort to a couple of cups of Bouillon in between.

Anyway, the thought of sunny weather on it's way makes it more bearable!

Good luck everyone.
Hi guys :) It's only my second fast today (mondays and thursdays) so I'm experimenting by only having a big dinner, I really don't want a repeat of monday..
I'm in, week 5, fast number 10. Green tea, fizzy water and bovril till dinner tonight, then fish, spinach and salad. A 10 calorie jelly, cup of chai with a splash of 1% milk during the evening and a 40 calorie hot chocolate before bed. Much easier to save all the calories until dinner.
Haven't eaten since dinner last night and will eat again tomorrow lunchtime. 36 hours = 500 calories.

Good luck everyone
Fasting again today. After the indulgences of the weekend I've had a pretty controlled week, I've not been too indulgent on feast days which hopefully will give positive results at next weigh in.

Have a good day everyone!
I'm fasting today, I feel like I've been eating a bit too excessively the last few days (pub on monday and birthday cake the last couple of days) so hopefully my body doesn't cry out for carbs today!

Aiming to do a true fast today so no food until breakfast tomorrow!
I'm fasting today...I made sure I didn't go over the top on the last two days "feast days" - and I woke up really hungry this morning lol! I don't care...it's 4 weeks till my brother gets married and I have one smoking hot dress that is just a wee bit too tight - so I'm all guns blazing until that at least.

I'll have fizzy water and no added sugar juice and tea with a fume of milk until tea tonight. I will probably go for a 1/2 hour run at lunch time. *game face*
I'm fasting too but I'm considering to quit and skip this fast. I feel completly worn out and miserable. Same thing Monday. And I'm soooo hungry.
Should I listen to my body or try to stick it through? I lost 7 kilos in 3 weeks so maybe I need to slow down?
Fast day here too, though I blew the start after 7pm last night by eating some biscuits, but the day had been traumatic with my grandson getting a nasty gash on his head at play group and we had to go to A&E rather rapidly. He's all glued up and recovering now though we have to take him for his MMR and pre-school jabs today. Hoping he won't hold it against me. Oh for a dull moment!
