So glad to be fasting today. I had a rough feed day yesterday. May the force be with us.

Aiming for a full 24hrs before eating this time.
I found on my first fast that having a small amount of soup at lunchtime just made me hungry for the rest of the afternoon. So liquids only for me until 8.00pm fingers crossed I can make it through!

it's my second fast too and i'm dying at the minute haha, how are you doing? ditto about the small amounts making me hungrier, i'm having an omelette at 8! :like:

Haity I had an enormous hunger pang about an hour ago, ignored it, had a peppermint tea (which I strangely enjoy) and now not feeling too bad. I am surprisingly energetic, I'm normally sluggish by this time in the afternoon.
Looking forward to a nice green stir fry & some chicken later.

Good luck with it. Stay strong..

ps my scales weigh 6lbs lighter since Monday! is that even possible??

Haha I don't dare weigh myself yet.. I've promised myself only on tuesday mornings after the fast. I'm terrified of losing none or even gaining. You've made me more excited though! Do you think you'll stick to one meal a day or spread it out on monday? I also feel more energetic, I thought people were lying about water filling you up, I feel alright now.
Am back after a week away last week and no fasts (it's the first time Ive not fasted twice a week since I started this in late Jan) and I managed Monday's fast fine and although I've just come home after being on the IOW for two days in meetings etc. I have even managed to fast today - all gone well. Nothing at all to eat ut have had two cups of tea) until just now 4pm - two ryvita, a slice of pastrami (Waitrose 12 cals a very thin sliver!) on each, a scrape of Philli light & a couple of thin slices of cucumber - yum - and a final cuppa! Also been drinking water.

I might weight in tomorrow or I might resist the urge and wait another week just to let my body catch up with itself again and hopefully show another loss!

Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day (in Hampshire, UK). :)
I always crave something sweet after dinner so I have just gone to the painstaking effort of counting my remaining calories in Smarties. Honestly can't believe I've just done that haha!
Today is my first fast day... feeling good so far. Already fought off co-worker temptation twice :).

Good work on counting Smarties!

I also crave something sweet after something savoury. On a fast day when I don't have the calories left I find cleaning my teeth helps!! I don't think there are many calories in toothpaste!

That's such a good idea, I might have to try that. I'm feeling surprisingly optimistic considering how hungry I feel at the moment, I think it's empowering taking control of your diet :)
I'm fasting today. Thought I'd try something a bit different today so didn't have breakfast just a cup of tea and waited until 1.30pm to have a boiled egg and 1 slice of wholemeal bread. Actually found it was ok and wasn't even that hungry by luch time but think having gone to Tesco in the morning made me think about food. Still having lunch inspired me to go out and clean my windows so the house is nice and sparkling. Having a weight watchers beef in red wine for dinner tonight with just enough calories left for a bit of fruit salad.
Fasting for 7 weeks now so its' not bad at all. I skip breakfast, have a piece of fruit late morning, have salad for lunch and a small portion of whatever family is having for dinner- 500 calories. Each person has to work out the routine that is best for them. I tried it a couple ways at first and now have it down. I've lost 10 pounds and it's not been hard at all. So love this diet!!
It's my first day fasting but I thought it would be better for me to spread my calories across the day, so I had an egg white omelette about 9am and then a piece of wholemeal toast and quarter of a tin of beans about 3pm. I've got a piece of chicken and salad lined up for dinner. Tbh though I probably could have got through without lunch if I'd stuck at it, but I can always try that on Sunday when I'm at work.
6th Fast for me. After waking up hungry this morning I thought it was going to be tough but that soon past and it's probably the easiest so far.

Looking forward to my chicken, rice and salad, two hours until I can eat!
Usual Thursday fast today. Was so busy working today I haven't really thought about food much. Did stop for an option choccy drink at lunchtime and just had a weightwatchers ready meal, don't plan on having anything else tonight now and my tummy rumbles have been very rare today which is quite unusual for me.

I tend to plateau for a couple of weeks then lose the odd pound, I actually lost last week (yippy do da!) and am actually looking forward to my weigh-in tomorrow! Never thought I would EVER say that about any sort of 'diet'!!

Well done all Thursday fasters!! :like: :like: :like: :like: x
I've had a successful Fast day, no major hunger pangs but I have felt cold all day apart from while out running. I've had dinner and have about 150 cals left for today, so 40 for a Hot Choc and the rest in the bank !
Good luck to Wilmissus and Suchard and the other 36 hour liquid only Fasters.
I admire your dedication I'm pretty sure I couldn't do it :clover:
Well I posted this morning but can't find my post - it's been one of those days!
Stress, stress, more stress, mostly been sorted but my o my, did I WANT to stress eat. I didn't though. Just ate 2 sticks of celery and am going to have some Bovril and then a bit of chicken and salad. Weigh day tomorrow! Been doing this since around January with the odd few days off here and there if I go away. Fingers crossed!!
