This is my 3rd fast day and I'm doing fine on just one espresso coffee this morning and mineral water. I'll have a simple protein and salad dinner, which should be well under 500 cals, this evening. I find it easier this way than trying to divide the calorie allowance up between 2 or 3 meals.
I'm in! Cooking a pot of black beans, onions, bell peppers, poblano peppers, celery, carrot and some fresh chicken chorizo sausage in a wonderful blend of spices (cumin, coriander, ancho, etc etc). I like cooking in the morning, so at dinner time (when I'm really hungry), I just need a quick reheat.
I gave myself permission to basically take last week off. So I am back to diligence starting today.
It's almost 5pm in my part of the world and I haven't had a bite to eat since around 8pm last night.
I have been keeping busy gardening in the sun (and topping up my vit D intake!)

Dinner tonight will be a small omelette with some leftover pepper and chickpea stew.
My weakest moment will be, as usual, the period after the meal, when I catch up with the news on TV... I struggle to resist a nibble here and a nibble there.
Tonight, I will keep a bottle of water with me to avoid going to the kitchen where temptation waits!
5th week of fasting for me and it's soooo much easier this week than last one. TOTM, hydration and timing of meals was my enemies last week I think. I've doubled my fluid intake during work hours - and I feel much better than last fast. And since I start to get really hungry at 2 PM I'm not torturing myself until 6 PM anymore. I made a large tuna salad and ate half of it at 2 and the rest now. No weight loss for a couple of weeks but my waist and my bodyfat % is decreasing so I guess the scales will catch up!
It is hard fasting on a bank holiday, isn't it? Everywhere I've been today there have been literally hundreds of people around me eating and eating and eating. Also 7 out of 10 people are the shape of weebles, this is worrying. They won't fit on bus seats or hospital beds surely. I speak as a shrinking weeble myself you understand, but they are STILL eating endlessly. I am concerned for their health.
Two hours to go to tuna and salad and a crunchy apple ...
It's seemed easier to fast today as the sun's been shining and I've kept busy in the garden. I may, though, have to rethink my staple supper of skinny noodles in a chilli- and herb-laden vegetable soup. My baby salad leaves are starting to appear but I think I need a bridging supper to be my no-thinking basic. I'm thinking omelette....
Hi, I'm in. Week 6 Fast number 11. Time flies when you're having fun! Sorry I'm late, Wasn't going to join in today because of the bank holiday but I just had green tea this morning then got busy, before I knew it, lunchtime had come and gone, so I thought I might as well carry on. Save doing it tomorrow as I had planned. Just had green tea and fizzy water all day and will have chicken salad for dinner, probably a 10 calorie jelly and a 40 calorie hot chocolate before bed.
Will weigh and update the tracker tomorrow, well done to all who have finished for the day and good luck to everyone else
Despite the Bank holiday, today's going well.
Dragged my daughter out into the sunshine (she's revising for exams and looks really pale) and we had an ice cream by the beach. I had a Calippo which was only 90 cals, so if I forego my afternoon snack I won't be much over.
Omlette and salad for dinner. Hope I've lost a bit for my weigh in tomorrow.
Today is fast #2 for me. Feeling a little sluggish but hey it's Monday. I've had tea so far this morning and a little later I'll have some oatmeal. Lots of temptation in office today, already said no to a latte and a donut :)
Am fasting today #28, Lovely to be at home gardening and walking the dog in the sunshine. OH at home for a change and we've enjoyed a lovely long weekend...still are. No breakfast, prawn salad for lunch & chicken breast & veggies for supper. Need to start shifting weight again as slowed down a bit recently.
I'm fasting today too :) and I've decided to go completely sans food for the day this time, as I ate rather a lot over the weekend!

So far, so good... only 4.5 hours until bed and then I can wake up and eat :D
Another disaster for me!

Does anyone else have a unsupportive husband? He knows I am fasting and brings home BBQ! Fasting was doomed as soon as I saw it!
That's better, supper consumed at 392 cals, I'm done for today. Well done everyone, water sipping through the evening now :0)
Another fairly easy fast done, am into the routine that works best for me now, the first three weeks I was having breakfast but now I don't and have a banana at 2pm ish when I start getting hungry and then dinner and just water to drink.
