Sorry my recipe is a bake the leeks are the chewy bits. Tastes better than it sounds,
Hi everyone
I'm on fast 5, last week was in UK visiting family, but still managed a fast day...how good was that. No weight loss this week but have needed to alter 2 pairs of trousers. Am fasting till dinner this evening, just fizzy water &black coffee, then a Hairy Bikers spanish chicken bake at 350 cals, so tasty, and with chorizo sausage a real boost to my fasting taste buds.
Good luck to all
Fasting (no 7) here too! It will be a struggle as the kids are off and I will be around food a lot today!

I am trying to keep myself busy, Iv done lots of cleaning to keep my mind off the hunger; I'm trying to see if I can get to 5pm before I eat! Usually have a lunch and a dinner.

Iv just been drinking water up to now and might have a cup of tea. I might start my university work to keep my mind off food!

Sounds excellent actually - recipe please
Another Monday faster signing in! Just coffee so far; pond water soup for lunch (that refers to the colour, not the taste!) and spinach pie and salad for supper.
Go, Fasters, go!
Me too! Busy busy day but hoping that will help! I won't have access to a kitchen for my regular soup, so I'm bringing a salad with me, hope it's enough of a lunch!
Fasting today too. Feeling really demotivated after messing up my progress tracker (have PM'd Moogie as suggested) and not losing as much as hoped or anything off my overample waist. This is an emotional week for me as tomorrow is a difficult anniversary and today is a bank holiday so I don't have the usual distraction of work, just a house full of yummy temptations.

I'm hungry already so I might have a couple of small oranges in a while or a few grapes. Fish and salad for dinner tonight. It's going to be difficult to accurately calculate today's calories as the fish has a sauce with it and I'm pouring away as much of that as possible (not to save calories - it just isn't very nice)

Nettle tea to start the day and lots of no added sugar squash and diet soft drinks (I know they are bad but I love them).
I'm in, fast no. 9! Have a wonderful day everyone - and hope it gets better for those having a tough time!
Fast was no problem. Back to school - as busy as ever - barely any hunger pangs - only had a banana during the day - fish for dinner - but why did one "Chocolate hobnob" turn into 5.
A good tip though - each one is 95 cals so if that is all I had all day it would have been perfect!!
Ah well, tomorrow is another day!
Fasting today as well. First time with all my family around. I tend to fast during the week.
11pm on my fast day, which would normally mean time for bed and then waking up to a lovely feeding day. But alas! I have so much uni work to do that I will be up for many hours yet. Here's hoping I can make it to 7am without venturing across the library to the dreaded vending machine!
Doing well today, haven't felt hungry at all!

Didn't get round to getting the shopping in this weekend, so unfortunately I'm left with a mini pizza and a bit of fish for dinner
As its a Bank Holiday I was going to wait until tomorrow to fast but woke up feeling inspired so I thought I'd just go for it! Been out doing some gardening and generally keeping busy so its all going well. Had a large portion of chocolate pud last night so I really feel the need for a nice low cal day today to get rid of the bloat! Not had anything more substantial than jelly and fruit as a dessert in ages and I think it will be a long time before I tackle a chocolate pud again! I love my choccy but 5:2 seems to have reduced my capacity for sweetness quite considerably.

I was just about to say exactly that!

So far so good, and off to take my youngest to the cinema now, so out of temptation's way for another couple of hours. She loves popcorn, and I don't really, so it will be no challenge to abstain.
Just starting my Monday the 6th fast day as I'm over on the west side of the States.

I woke up pleased that it was a fast day. That has meant good energy for me in the past. Hope it continues today.

Have some tummy rumblings already, but I know they'll go away -- and come back, lol.
