Does anyone else have a unsupportive husband? He knows I am fasting and brings home BBQ! Fasting was doomed as soon as I saw it!

Don't give up Kat you're doing great despite your husband's sabotage.
My first fast today, I skipped breakfast and had lunch about 1pm and dinner at about 6. It has been easier than I expected, but my stomach is complaining a little now. I've still got a few calories left so hopefully a cup of miso soup will quiet the beast. In future I'll probably fast on a working day to distract me from the hunger.
fast day for me too. Spent most of the day in the garden weeding, planting, etc as it has been such a gorgeous day in the UK, we dont get many!!!!. Had a lovely ham & egg salad for tea, perfect for a such a beautiful day. Good job, it was a fasting day though, as due to it having been our wedding anniversary on Saturday, we had 2 boxes of chocs to get through, & unfortunately it showed on the scales when i weighed in this morning!!!! Never mind, the start of another week, week 11 for me, & now on a serious countdown to my summer hols in Turkey.
I normally fast on a Monday but couldn't decide whether to as it was Bank Holiday and we were going to the beach and always have chips. I can report that I did 2 hours in my canoe and then had half a portion of a small portion of chips so that should be roughly ok - not too bothered if it isn't as I am usually very good and its now nearly bed time!
Hiya
Total newbie. Husband and I have read the book and decided to try it. Love the forum ...think it's going to help.
I fasted today & as usual didn't eat until this evening... Have downloaded the map my walk app which records what you've done, how far you go and how many cals burned, I'm finding it hugely motivating. I also did a fast on Saturday( over ate on Friday!) and will do my final fast of the week in Wednesday.
Hubby is considering trying fasting but we will be doing different days... Hmm not sure how that will work!! I have to do Mon & Wed cos that's easiest and I've been doing it longer so technically he should follow me!!!
4th fast over, woke up feeling great after a good sleep .not even that hungry and I ate less than my 500 calories yesterday.tiday I feel much better than after the first three fasts wen I found that I slept badly and was starving and shaky the next day
Think my body is adjusting.next fast tomorrow.still thinking about doing 4:3
Might see results more quickly
Fast day went really well today. Managed a total fast til about 8:30ish. Family attempted to dissuade me, but have managed to perservere. Also I didn't work out today as I find for me it makes it harder to fast, but I did go on a bit of a stroll in the afternoon.

One down, one more to go. Congratulations to those who completed their fast and good luck to those fasting either tuesday or wednesday.
