Will try to remember to start a new weekly thread if no one else does

Whoever does start a new thread, could I ask that you link to it from here, so that we can all follow you easily!

And keep the title format the same - Liquid Fasting w/b Monday 13th May.

Cheers, B&W
OOOOHHHH, that rules me out then as I don't know how to link, what a shameful admission.
:?:
ballerina x
Breadandwine, I think you're the man for the job!
OK, folks, I'm happy to do that. I'll also link to all the other threads - there's some inspiring stuff in them for anyone who needs a bit of light reading!

Cheers, B&W
Hi all :)
I am only a week in to 5:2, didn't see much of a change :( So I am going to try a liquid fast this Monday 13th
Lets hope I have the willpower I think I have!
Mardae, 5:2 can take a couple of weeks to show a difference. My advice is weigh in weekly, but review monthly, ie don't get hung up on weekly numbers. If you're up for a zero cal fast go for it, but reserve a 500 cal meal just in case. It takes a while to get into it.
Thanks Redhead :)
I have found the fasts to be surprisingly easy so far and on a fast day have only been consuming clear soups, coffee, and water. I had two boiled eggs on my first fast for dinner and felt really sick afterwards :/
I will just see how I go, but won't put too much pressure on myself as it is only early days and I guess my body needs to make adjustments :)
Ok, weighed in - super weight and inch loss - bit baffled by the body fat % though?!! Redhead it's one of the things the machine measures - perhaps it's not that accurate after all? Apparently it measures by passing an electric current through you, I had converse on last week but a pair of ballet pumps this week. I'm hoping the different soles may have affected the reading. anyway onwards and downwards - looking forward to week 2.
Thanks B&W - I'll look for the thread - I'm in the same camp as ballerina as I wouldn't know how to link a thread (it's about time I learnt really!). Would you be good enough to do it Sunday evening if you can, after our last meal of the day, thank you
im doing my fist liquid fast today. I haven't eaten since 7:30 pm yesterday and it's almost 7pm today. so not really that long left until tomorrow morning :) I'm not feeling any more hungry than on a normal fasting day so far.
Ourb, sure never worry about the fat% - the weight and inches are coming off so that's great!

Mardae, sounds like you will take to a liquid fast fairly easily so best wishes for it!

And Umleila, fair play for fasting on a Saturday (if my maths are right you're somewhere on a global line between Finland and about Capetown so I think it is still Saturday with you?) Too many temptations around for me at the weekend *takes another glug of wine* You haven't long to go and your breakfast tomorrow will taste divine!
I'm in Saudi redhead, our weekend is Thursday and Friday, so I'm giving you a false sense of my dedication really if I withhold that information ;)
Ah, slightly out - by about 600 miles and a time zone! Guess you're having better weather than us in Ireland. It's currently hail stoning here!
It's been a whopping 42 degrees here today. I only ventured out after sunset today and that was because I was cold with the a/c on. I could do with some hailstones.
Good luck Umleila! How popular is 5:2 in Saudi Arabia?
