Hi all,

I've decided to the 36er as it was my daughter's 18th this weekend. As it fell on the BH weekend, i've over indulged and eaten out every evening since Friday and need to rebalance. I'm now at the 18 hour point and feeling ok, so far so good! I plan to eat around 1pm tomorrow. So will check in then.

Good luck to everyone else.
Hey everyone,

I'm doing a water fast today too :)

Had dinner just before 8 pm last night and will have breakfast tomorrow at 8!

I'm gonna allow myself a splash of milk with tea if necessary, but haven't felt the need so far!
I don't have milk in my tea/coffee on fast days, just water (95% of the time) and the odd herbal tea.

A 36er got me out of a three week stall and I lost 3 lbs that week. But I was only a lb away from goal weight. I'm now slipping under goal weight whilst still doing a 36er & 1x500 cal day but as Ilike to have 5lbs or so wiggle room to bounce up/down I'm fine to continue to lose a bit.
Left work early today, just home looking after boys (and cooking their tea :frown: ), then off out for drumming and marching practice

Looking forward to a run tomorrow, lots of nourishment, and hopefully the post 36er glow.

Today is going OK, not easy, but thats a lot to do with sleeping badly last night, hopefully fresh air and no alchohol today will mean a better night
It was still Easter weekend here in Greece, I was still eating and drinking like there was no tomorrow.
I don't think that my stomach would permit me to do that yet anyway but I will one day!
Hope you all did well!!!
Well done to everyone who fasted yesterday on the bank hol! I ate a lot at the weekend and was slightly worried today might be difficult, but it's been fine. I'll be fasting again on Thursday.
I second that redhead - I thought that it would be a struggle today given what I've eaten over the past few days but not so. I've got a couple more things to do tonight then a soak in the bath and that's another 36 day done.
Today has definately got easier throughout the day. Maybe because I've had a really constructive afternoon/evening I've forgotten about food. And now bed beckons, after I've caught up on the all the news on here !

Well done everyone today.
Just shows it all about getting used to it mentally. The body seems to find fasting fairly easy with practice - we just need to get over the constant advice to eat eat eat.
Well i've half an hour to go before the end of my first 36er. Last night was fine - I had a peppermint tea and watched some tv, felt very drowsy and went to bed around 10pm. I had faint hunger pangs but nothing too serious. I normally find that on my two 500 days I don't sleep well but last night I slept the whole night, probably more to do with the hectic weekend I'd had. This morning I feel fine, a little hungry but I'm going to wait until 1pm - which makes it 40 hours. Another fast day due on Thursday so am comtemplating doing it again.
I slept really deeply after my fast yesterday, but woke up early with hunger this morning, so got up, had a fantastic breakfast, and got on with the jobs for the day. My weight this morning was 1kg down from yesterday, but not back to my pre-weekend weight yet. I must download one of those apps that produces a trend chart from daily weighing.

Tommorow's 36er will come round a bit too quick I think, but its the best way to manage the week, so onwards and upwards. I'm aiming to eat low carb and high-nutrient today to prepare. Good luck to fasters today.
Breaking my fast in 10 mins with my usual, fruit salad, nat yogurt and fruit salad.
Had to wait till 11 as last thing I had on Monday was popcorn and crisps watching a movie with kids, not the most ideal pre-fast meal.
Strangely easy not too eat breakfast this morning and even now I don't feel particularly hungry but I'm still gona break he fast at 36hrs.

I know exactly what you mean about tomorrows fast coming around a bit too soon. But like you, I'm keeping it simple today.

See you all tomorrow
On Thursday, I will be driving all day. At least 8 hours. It will be easy to take tea, water along and not too many places to stop anyway. It's all rocks and trees. My hunger will keep me from getting sleepy in the afternoon.
Any thoughts on driving a long way on a liquid fast?
I am doing 36 hr liquid fast today, second one for this week. Anyone joining me today? Have lots of energy today, did lots of tasks already around the house, now relaxing, while reading some posts.
Those of you fasting on Thursday - will you be on this thread?
