Today is my 4th fast day. It's going fine but I am cranky. For some reason I'm having a period for the first time in 1 1/2 years. Mother nature has a warped sense of humor for sure!

Have not weighed and won't until the end of the month. Though yesterday I was able to pull my jeans down without undoing them. Way cool!!!

polycystic ovary syndrome? Often happens with women who are a bit overweight. Losing weight helps fix the hormonal problems that can cause it, and therefore get your periods back to being more regular.

Today's been tough. Glad I kept some cals back to allow for a proper cup of tea with a splash of milk, needed it.

My mother in law died on Saturday, she was very old and unwell so expected, but it has been more difficult than we expected. My "solution" before was to eat to make myself feel better, and although it didn't, now that I can't it makes me feel even more miserable. And it's been bloomin cold again.

Tired and grumpy, but nearly done, and convinced this is the only way to do it for me.

I'm coming to the end of my Fast day and it has gone well, I Fasted yesterday as well - the first time I have tried consecutive days.
Late lunchtime today I really needed some food, so I had about 90 cals worth of homemade veg soup with Slim Pasta in it. This is the first day in maybe 12 Fasts that I have needed anything before dinner time. Maybe because it was a 2 day Fast, but I do know I felt better in myself this afternoon than I did yesterday afternoon. So for me lesson learnt -If I need something around 2pm, have it rather than getting grumpy about it :like:

Sending you a Hug Swedey, sorry you are having a tough time all round

Sorry for your loss Swedey, hope tomorrow is a better day!

Today was a fast day for me too, but I think I went over 500 cals...didn't help that I made biscuits with my son yesterday and so we have 3 million biscuits in the kitchen to tempt me! Now I just have to not eat anything else until I go to bed, which may be easier said than done...

Fasting today... someone just offered me wonderful pizza, but I turned it down.... moving on to a cup full of fasting tea and bracing myself against the strong wind of pizza smells. This is my 5th week of fasting, not many changes yet... no scales to weigh myself, but waist measurement staying pretty consistent. I've a long way to go... so just hanging in there and hoping things will shift soon.

I made it until 4pm until having a single calorie! This is a record for me. It hasn't been a super easy day, but I managed to make brownies for my kids and have not had any! I love the feeling of accomplishment when my will power wins!

Fasting today too and it has gone well. Fasting has become a normal thing here in my life now, but I haven't lost weight in a few weeks. I need to get my head round that and what to do about it, but I will focus on the health benefits for now. Fasting is definitely here to stay!

End of the best fast day yet. Think it helped that I was galloping around at full tilt all day - not much time to brood about being hungry!

Hope everyone else who was fasting had/is having a good day!

Taking a week off seems to have worked for me.

Finishing up my fast day...another busy day. Delicious asparagus and some great vegan curry for dinner made the long wait worthwhile. Didn't feel quite so mentally sharp as I have in the past on fast days...but it has been a very demanding week and I haven't had as much sleep as I would like. Will have to wait for the weekend for that luxury. Maybe time for me to revise my weight goal...have I made it too low? Seem to be losing muscle after 9 weeks of IF.
