I fasted today too, my 4th one, second week in. Really struggled this afternoon with feeling so cold and tonight after a lovely salad for dinner, I'm craving something sweet! Have to keep busy and stay on the hot drinks!

I'm starting 2nd fast of the week. Feeling very virtuous as I've just started the day with a cup of hot water and lemon instead of my usual coffee. Been meaning to do this for ages - mainly to reduce amount of coffee I drink and to help the old liver along a bit - but have found it hard to break coffee habit first thing in the morning. :victory:

I'm fasting too, my 10th fast I think and 5th week. The rain is pouring down here in south of Sweden and I'm already on my third cup of coffee. Saving my kcal for scrambled eggs in the evening.

Joining you today. I usually like to have two days between fasts but because of the bank holiday I'm doing tues and thurs. Meeting nikipins for a girly day tomorrow so it had to be today for fasting. Hope it won't be too hard after not having eaten much yesterday due to the appetite suppression effect. Sun is shining at the moment :-) but storms expected later :-(

So you're swimming, has to be 38plus for me to swim. Is the pool outdoors and heated?
[quote]
Yes Marie, It is an outdoor heated pool. My friend and I have decided to keep going outside till it gets too cold, then we'll go to the indoor Olympic pool at Homebush( but I really hate indoor pools)

Have a great trip and remember if you put a bit on, you have the tools to take it off now with this WOE!

I'm "repairing" today  Good luck to all of us!

Today I'm going to experiment with my food. I'm a bit worried at abandoning my tried and true satisfying and filling 500 kcal meal, but also hopeful some more variety will turn out to be good for me.

I bought a juicer this week, and have learned to make crackers from the left-over vegetable pulp. They're wonderful for eating with nutbutters, tahini, jam etc., and much better for me than wheat crackers, which I don't tolerate well.

So today I'll be juicing my veggies a couple of hours before my meal, then baking the crackers at low heat. When I tried out the recipe day before yesterday the aroma was mouth watering, so I hope that won't be a nuisance to me!

I'm also not sure juice + crackers will be as filling as whole steamed vegetables.

gigi55, at the top right corner of the comment you want to quote, there are three tiny buttons: [!] [Quote] :like:

You click the Quote button, and the full comment will be quoted in a reply box for you to edit and add your reply to.

Highlighting the text I want to quote does not work for me the way PennyForthem suggests. Could be a difference in our browsers?

It's sunny but extremely windy here in the West Midlands - glad that we had the very tall old trees close to our house well pruned back earlier this year!

Woke up feeling hungry but plan to be strong as I normally save my calories for dinner on fast days. I find that having anything earlier just makes me more hungry afterwards.

Many thanks to Moogie et al for the TDEE tracker on the progress tracker too. Soooo much easier to have a proper number to aim for and ready quartered for fast days too. You are extraordinairy kind clever people.
