Back fasting today. Usually do Monday and Thursday but gave blood last Thursday then bank holiday family visit on Monday.

So.....first day back for over a week, and today I had lost 3 lbs!!! Maybe metabolism had a kick start. Anyway, renewed enthusiasm for me.

Only had hot water with lemon and black coffee so far.

Having egg on toast later with a cup of tea, then spin class, then soup before bed. My usual routine.

I'm in. Had my tea with milk and sugar this am, now drinking my usual mint tea at work. Happy fasting everyone!

I'm in today too.

Nothing but fruit tea so far today and a yummy 3 egg omelette planned for tonight.

This is day 2 of 2 consecutive fast days, it was the only way I could fit them in this week. For teh first time in weeks I've had to resort to some low cal veg soup with Slim Pasta in it, I'm feeling quite full now, I just hope it doesn't rebound on me and make me hungrier later. Lovely Waitrose had one of their low cal ready meals reduced to clear so my dinner is 297 cals and £2.49

I am fasting today. I woke up grumpy! I'm afraid it's not going to be pretty! Really wishing the kids didn't have a half day of school on top of that but maybe they will keep each other busy. I will be glad when today is over! This is my 7th fast and is shaping up already to be the hardest. :cry:

Hi, just checking in - I'm doing fine, my last meal was last night 6pm with a cup of tea and a biscuit at about 8pm. I have reached my magic 16 hrs ;-)

I even went for my 25 min run this morning. I must say I felt really crap fasting on Tuesday, Massive headache that paracetamol would not touch, which finally disappeared when I had a cup of caffeinated coffee (no milk) and a chunk of cucumber at 4pm, but no such problem today.

Fast for me, feeling a bit annoyed with myself as I've managed to put on 4lbs in 3 weeks, I blame rediculous weekend binging and a knee injury :( need to stop the weekend crazyness.

Struggling through revision... looking forward to dinner, not got much in the house but a Heinz tomato soup will do me just fine!

Bit late in the day but I'm in! Found it hard today and have been really hungry at times, forgot to take flavoured water to work which seemed to make it worse! Hey ho, you live and learn eh?

It,s 2am here now, so far so good, my daughter had a nap earlier so I expect it will be 5am before we get to sleep. I,m in the home stretch now, just keeping away the kitchen.

It's going amazingly well for me today - perhaps my easiest fast so far. Have barely thought about food all day, and was so energetic during my post-work gym session (the first time I've tried to exercise on a fast day).

Loads of housework then ran out of umph! So cold now and cold salad and tuna to eat soon may not help. Might have to squeeze a 40 calorie hot choc drink in to warm me up. Trying to stay under 350 cals today ...

It's been an easy fast today despite being around some cake in the staff room! I made fish cakes tonight and lots of veg but was really full after 1 small one (normally have 2) so should be under calorie target. Just having a big mug of black coffee as I have work to do tonight.

just had tea, was very nice and quite filling. Total calories for the day is 557 which I'm pleased with. Exercise is about 1100 cals too. It's my second weigh tomorrow morning so fingers crossed, not that I'm all that confident after the bank holiday weekend's beer and BBQ...

I'm in today too. For some reason this one has been much tougher than Monday, I've been properly grumpy at work today, the weather has been miserable and I've been hungry all day :cry:

Still, 2 small satsumas, one coffee with sweetner and a little coffeemate, a 2 finger kitkat and a low calorie hot choc (needed the comforting chocolatey goodness). Tonight's dinner is an m&s mushroom chicken ready meal - 280cals which I'm happy with.

So looking forward to my starbucks hot choc and a danish pastry start to Friday morning :oops:
