Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
I'm Fasting (I prefer to call it Restricting) today. 2nd one for me and I feel great, have already lost 2 lbs and biggest trousers feel much more comfy, not so tight round the waist. Good luck everyone, keep going ... it's only until tomorrow, that's what keeps me going as well as my delicious herb & fruit teas.
I'm in for the first time.
Had instant porridge (Yuk) this morning 178Kcals and 2 cups coffee with a dash of semi skim. milk. Just coming up for lunchtime and I brought an emergency carrot (50g, 17Kcals) and 50g of cucumber (10kcals) but will try and get through with just liquid.
Will let you know how I feel after watching everyone else eating lunch.

Working from one of the London offices today, and set next to the kitchen so everyone is wandering around with plates of hot food. Great!
Might need to go and get a bottle of Pepsi Max just to fill my belly with bubbles so that I can't hear it rumbling!
My weakness got the best of me tonight

We are having a fairly lazy day today & won't eat until evening when we will have an M& S fuller longer meal. This evening we are going to see the new Star Trek film any Trekkies out there?
Me! Went to see the film last night. Very good, I thought.
I'm also fasting today. Nothing to eat since teatime last night. Not sure what's for tea tonight, but it'll be 500 cals or less.

I think Restricting Day's a better name for it if you divide your calories so that you can eat during the fasting period.
I haven't been doing that, because I want to let my body have a day's rest twice a week. Also I've been reading about the body breaking down fat when it's run out of glucose (which takes 12 hours, apparently). In that case, I don't want to give my body anything that stops it going for the fat!
Hopefully by tomorrow morning ill be feeling a lot less bloated and sluggish.
Having cottage cheese salad for dinner, and really looking forward to it.
Planning on doing ADF this week to get back on track.
I want to maintain this feel good feeling.
My friend told me last week I was the talk of the island as everyone was saying how much weight I've lost. Go me!
Good luck everyone.
