My 8th fast today. Did 36-hour, liquid-only fast on Saturday, but treating myself to 500 calories today!

Feels easy in comparison!!
Hi Guys

I joined this in Jan, thought I was getting nowhere but have decided to try it again. I don't think I followed it properly the last time and I tried to do 4:3 which was too hard for me as I am a triathlete and training was being affected. So today is the first fast day again. I am going to do 5:2 and not 4:3 as it seems more manageable. I have had a protein shake today and cup of chicken bovril. Ill have another chicken bovril and then get a salad for dinner.I have a meeting tonight though where there are going to be loads of cakes and I am dreading it. Help!!!
I'm in today. Should have been yesterday but I had a wee bit of a hangover  Very bad planning.

Only 2nd week and 3rd fast but it doesn't seem to be causing me too much grief. Yet

:clover: to everyone
Alf
I'm fasting today also. Feeling ill, but decided to carry on anyway as I have missed two fasts in the last two weeks already. Good luck.
I'm fasting too, not fasted since last tuesday but going well so far.
I'm in today as well, but I couldn't help hitting on 2 apples. I started feeling sick on the bus home and this usually happens on an empty stomach. Unbearable!
I'll still count it as a fast day, even with the apples in :)

Hi, you can always take a couple of cakes from the meeting and have them tomorrow :)
I'm having a hard time this afterternoon... My BF and little girl are having food and I am about an inch away from saying "sod this..." and digging in to a gorgeous looking cheese sandwich :( It's nearly 5pm and I can't believe that even though I can eat tomorrow, I'm considering giving up...
Hopeful listen to yourself " a gorgeous looking cheese sandwich" come on it can't look that gorgeous. Dinner time soon :clover:
Hah, daft thing is I don't even like cheese sandwiches XD
*laughing* just think how much better it would look tomorrow for breakfast .... oh I forgot you don't like cheese sandwiches !

BTW anyone else noticed the Forum clock is an hour slow?
Oh I'm sure I could find a liking for it long enough to eat one just once :D Good idea to have one for brekky though :D
Fasting today and very hungry at the moment. On here to take my mind off the hunder and to keep up the motivation.
Hello Garnet, I feel your pain :D Let's keep each other going :D
