I'm fasting today and looking forward to it. After having a slightly shaky first week I intend to knuckle down and do it properly!

Today I intend to eat 1 meal only for the first time, I do have a standby snack if I get desperate :)
well after quite an easy fast day so far I'm in the horrid 4-6pm time :starving: of day, not long now before tea and early night, I think will be the plan this evening and is really really cold here too so cant decide whether to make omelette or soup for tea.
I'm in, after a week-end of working I feel exhausted, almost happy not to have to think about what to eat ;) Byoung103 Why not only weigh after a fast, that way you stand a better chance of being lower , just a thought. Last week I managed a 4:3 may attempt another this week, I don't feel I lost out on anything. Have a great week everyone, and if you find any get up and go, send it my way ;) x
Fasting today as well. Week 8 I think. Lost 9.5 kg.
My eating habits are really good Mon-Thurs - then I lose control EVERY weekend.... I eat too much and not very healthy food. I do lose weight but I'm actually eating less healty now than before 5:2.... :confused:
This is my third fast day so far. I had yoghurt and berries for breakfast and my hubby is making some soup for later on. The weather is beautiful so I'm also planning to go for a long walk. I feel very energetic already and I was kind of looking forward to fasting today!
Well I've managed to survive work, although my energy level was so low and felt very tired. Home now, had a coffee and heading to the gym to a spin class! I wonder how I'll go with this, last night I did a spin class and I was so exhausted as it was the day after my first fast. Hmm.
I've found again that I'm not awfully hungry, I never get to a rumbling stomach, just an empty feeling. I've eaten a banana, 45 cal cup a soup and two coffes, about 150 cal for the day. At least I can have a pretty decent dinner with the 350 remaining! :smile:
I'm fasting today (and just joined the forum). Started the diet in Feb and have lost 1.5 stone but have hit a plateau the last few weeks. Here's hoping today kick starts me...
I'm fasting today and for the first time I won't be at work so won't have the structure and routine of that to rely on. So today will be interesting and experimental. The garden calls and there's plenty to do there! Just hope the kitchen will keep quiet until this evening when I will try a new recipe from the 5:2 cook book- puy lentils, tomatoes and feta. Only 11 hours to go till tea time! :smile:

Good morning fasters all! I caught the sun a bit yesterday, must have topped up my vitamin D well too. Lemon and ginger tea start today, lets hope it's a good one. Keep it up, keep at it, one day at a time.

Just joined yesterday and plunging in - my first day and my first fast today!
Am fasting today too and I definately overdid it at the weekend, a bottle of wine and bowls of strawberries with very sinful ice cream. Am out for lunch on Thursday with friends and to Bristol on Friday for a weekend of birthday celebrations so am going to struggle to fit in my 2nd fast as I'm not sure I can fast on alternate days which probably rules out Wednesday. Will have to get back on track next week as my aim is to loose another 7 pounds befofe my hols in late July!

This is my second day Fasting, first was on Thursday. I had lots to eat yesterday, bbq and drinks with friends. Looking forward to giving the body a break today....Soup, fruit & veg today..will try to keep below 550 cals.

Still doing my liquid fast but its been a long day so decided to have a spot of honey in my cuppa. Yum. I can really taste it. Still got 14 hours to go
I'm in for my usual Monday fast. According to the scales I've gained 4 pounds, my eating may not have been perfect but it's not 4 pounds worth??! I did a semi fast yesterday~ we had a social in the evening and I didn't eat until then (8pm) and had veg lasagne, chips and some cake. We were at a pub quiz and the food was provided. I also did 2 long walks yesterday & earned 652 cals.
Anyone have any tips to relieve constipation? I tried senna & dulcolease. Sorry if tmi! I'm drinking loads of water & walking.
