I'm in. Got a cold but I'm still going to fast. Not hungry anyway so I might as well.
Good morning all.
I'm in today, off for a swim soon IN THE SUNSHINE. :like:
I know, we really are pathetic in Sydney, we close up like a hibiscus when it gets dark and cloudy!
I've had my black coffee, and 50mls of almond milk to take some medication ( only 8cals!)
So herb teas till 6pm then a tuna and veg frittata which I'm going to calorie count properly tonight. I usually have it on non fast days but I'm sure it will come in under 300cals per serve. I'll let you all know if it's a success!

I've had my soft-boiled egg, and am drinking the first (and probably last) coffee of the day now.

I'm a bit worried about my mind set today. I woke up feeling "again?!" This is a first. I hope it's just the jetlag, work stress, and the fact that I'm piling alot on myself these days discipline-wise (diet, exercise, piano playing).
I'm In today too but don't think I do Mondays very well ! I so want to eat something it's not funny. Normal days for me are Tues and Thurs so stick to them when I can.
Yes I think I'm in, looking for any excuse to not fast today. I'm just so different from last week when both fasts were easy and didnt need to eat till dinner and had lots of energy.

Might go have some some soup to stop me thinking of food all day.

A regular Monday faster here, doing my usual water (and a bit of coffee) only fast. Planning to do some gardening as the weather seems alright. Wishing everyone a successful fast day! :clover:
Liquids fasting as usual today. Waaaaaayyyy overdid it on the weekend and feeling super flabby so I might make it this fast a little longer than usual, and try go until tomorrow night. I'll see how I feel though tomorrow afternoon though!!
It's still Sunday here in the US (for just 40 more minutes...) but tomorrow is my first fast day of the week and I'm actually looking forward to it! Plan to start the day with a jog on the treadmill but we'll see if I'm too tired from staying up late on the computer :-)

Turning in for the night, joining you in the morning. Ate pasta and pizza this weekend...all gluten free still...so don't expect a favorable weigh in for Monday morning, blast! :grin:
Me too, definately need to plan your fasting day. I am cooking a red lentil dish from the 5:2 recipe book for tea, it sounds delicious. Nothing much till then, just black coffee and may be some celery and a satsuma. It definately is working though, stick with it
Hey I to am fasting today. This is week 9 for me and I am really feeling the benefits of this eating plan. I am on a day off today so it is a little more challenging - lots of green tea. Good luck with the rest of your day.
Just had konjac slim pasta for the first time. I made a vege stirfry but unfortunately I didnt like the texture and was trying to avoid the noodles. Thats a shame as it worked out to 80 cals for a decent serving. Oh well, at least I tried something new. They now have a rice version I bought at Woolworths so we'll see how we go with them. :-)
Me too, woke up to sunshine this morning, summer has been very late coming. Busy day today, fast days always pass quicker when I'm busy!
Just non cal drinks for me till tonight, then a Hairy Dieters sweet and sour with a bed of steamed cabbage...340 calories, then a low cal choc drink before bed.
Been doing this woe for 3 months now, weigh more than when I started, ah well, keep plodding on, my fat body must surely realise sometime soon what it is meant to do!
I'm in for M-W this week. Long weekend coming up, holiday and cookout Thursday, wedding Friday, parents still visiting from out of state and who knows what craziness the weekend will bring?! So, a 5:2 week for me. Hope to at least get my 10,000 steps in. Veggie soup and chef salad is on the menu. Wishing luck to all the Monday fasters!!
Usual Monday fast for me but after playing with the Lions Saturday lunchtime, Wimbledon and starting Le Tour you wouldn't think I'd need to! Good luck fellow fasters.
