I'm in today too :)

Just got back from a walk/run-training for my first 5K and I'm up to walking briskly for a little over a half a mile, and then running back without stopping. Just started running a couple weeks ago and I'm very pleased with how far I've come so far! Hoping to be able to run almost a mile without stopping by next week :)

I haven't really thought about food for today-we're going to the zoo this morning and then errands this afternoon, so I won't be home a lot. I'll probably have a couple hard boiled eggs, a salad and then some diet hot cocoa throughout the day? Though I do have some salmon I need to use up, so maybe I'll do 4 ounces of that (110 calories), for 'supper'.

I'm in today. This will be my 5th fast - thinking about skipping breakfast and saving the calories for the evening -that's when my appetite really kicks in - after the sun goes down. Need to try to go to bed earlier, too. Good luck to everyone!

I'm in today, going well....need to go shopping for food as the cupboards are bare. Fancying a smoked mackerel salad tonight with a small drizzle of fig balsamic vinegar..... Roll on tonight.

Halfway through a day of revision lectures and my stomach is making audible grumbling noises! Determined to persist though :)
I am fasting too and have decided to just stick with protein for a few weeks and keep off the obvious carbs as I once had very good results with Dukan and really lost weight quickly around my belly...By the way can anyone tell me what 18:6 is? I have seen people write about it, what is it? Thanks and have a good fast day..
It's probably a variation of 16:8 where you have a 16 hour fast and an 8 hour eating window.

I'm in today and looking for a bit of support as OH is eating toast and apples and it's my first day back after a week off. Feeling a bit hungry!!
So far so good, not ready to eat my hand yet! Going tobgym now and will enjoy chicken salad and new potatoes, and a small yogurt! Every thing sounds giid when you are fasting! X
Well so far, i had a 10 cal jelly for breakfast and 2 times of WW soup at 51 cals each and a 10 cal jelly :) feel ok so far. So for tea i wll have 388 cals to use whoopy :)
Fasting today...much needed after Saturday's Chinese meal and although I only had two meals yesterday, they were rather carb heavy and the scales have me about 1.5kg heavier than Friday morning! Think it's my 70th fast or thereabouts. Watching the tennis right now...go Laura! May progress to watching the tennis from the (dis)comfort of the exercise bike shortly when I've finished my coffee! Went shopping this morning and got some steak (reduced for quick sale) which will be very yummy with some salad I think, for my one meal of the day later on.

Hello - fifth fast today. just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posts. it's good to know what others are experiencing. I've found this way of eating wonderful - only had half a stone to loose, but fed up yo yoing my life away. 2lbs gone already, but what makes my happiest is, for first time in my life will be able to maintain by 6:1 when reach target. Good luck today everyone!
My first fast in ages, and so far absolutely fine. Pork loin and veggies to enjoy for dinner later :smile:

Plus, I've got more housework done today than I would normally - nothing like keeping busy to take your mind off food, especially gruesome tasks like the cat litter tray :bugeyes: :lol:
Very late to bed last night, so very late waking up. So my day is a bit squiffed. But so far, lots of water, a couple of mugs of tea made with a splash of skimmed milk out of my 100kcal allowance. I very rarely use up the 100 kcals.

No hunger yet as I don't have breakfast at all any more and sometimes skip lunch on normal days as well (so inadvertently do a 16:8). I'm think of doing a light chinese chicken soup without the noodles or a tuna salad for my dinner.

Today has been a day of housework. Stripping all the beds and getting all the bedding washed and remaking them all. I think that counts as a workout in itself. I can't make my mind up whether I should do some fence painting today or not.
Banana and a Miso soup so far today and I'm feeling fine. Only a couple more weeks and I should reach my first target. Can't believe I'm even saying 'first'. 6 weeks ago I would never have thought this was so easy and made me feel so well, but now I think a BMI of 25 can be bettered. I thought it would take me months to get there... What to target next?
