I'm in today! Doing M/W this week as off for long holiday weekend here in the US. Have much to repair after last weekend. Queue up my favorite lemon ginger tea over ice...some nice wild salmon and greens for dinner. Good fast to you all!
I'm fasting today ... for the very first time. Since it's almost 7pm here, it's gone almost a full day already, and so far so good.
Weigh in this morning. As expected, didn't lose any weight as I had a carb fest this past week-end. Went ahead and measured waist though and I was an inch smaller since last week...WooHoo! I mean, you just have to love this way of eating. Doing the happy dance, oh yeah! Fasting Mon and Wed this week due to the July 4 holiday as well!
It was my birthday yesterday so I took a couple days off and just ate way too much so I'm happy to be back on fast today and hopefully lose the couple pounds I gained.
Hello! I'm fasting today as well! Trying to figure out my week, as Thursday is a holiday, but I have plans Wednesday night. Tuesday is free, but I've never done two fasts in a row! Might have to this week!

Happy to fast today, had a lot to eat this weekend. Also, it's so hot and humid out that I barely even want food!
Have a great day everyone!
Nycnyc2013...I have had to do back to back fasts due to plans. Not ideal, but totally doable! A little challenging to exercise on the second day. Could also do a Fast and two low cal days:)
We're into the home straight in the UK........another one bites the dust!
Clock watching till bedtime and wishing for a low cal hot chocolate to end the day.
An unusual fast day meal of bacon & eggs, and a yummy M&S blackcurrant yoghurt! Delish after two and a half hours in A&E with OH.

I was craving the same thing - I really need to find something decaf and yummy (but low cal) for night time! I made some diet hot cocoa but it wasn't very good...didn't even finish it... :starving:
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and found it linked to another site about the 5-2 diet.
I have lost 6 lbs since starting a little over a week ago. Fast days are Monday and THursday. Unless something comes up and I need to alternate it.
I'm pleased so far! Glad I found this forum. Looks like it has everything I am looking for. FOrum, inspirational words, blogs, ideas etc.
Today is the 6th time I've fasted and it was not too bad. Worked until 8pm. I try not to eat until 1130am, then have a hard boiled egg for lunch. munch on cherry tomatoes and sip v8 juice when I get famished. Dinner is the big meal and I bought a Wendys 300 calorie salad which was delish.
Looking forward to a nice breakfast tomorrow
Have you tried the chocolate teas...Republic of Tea makes several varieties.
