Hello all

I'm fasting today, had lots of cake in the house over the weekend from various things, so I've even been having it for breakfast with fruit & yogurt on... and for lunch...

Not at work today but got the in laws coming this weekend so got lots of tidying & cleaning to do. I know they're coming to see us not the house but in a way they are coming to see the house too as the last time they were here it was in february to help us move! I'm guessing they'll be hoping for a bit of progress since then. So I really ought not spend too much time on here.

Not sure which other day to do - probably friday but maybe thursday instead for a change. Have fun everyone!

It's so good that I could have roast chicken with extras, wine, cream scone, meringue yesterday, without feeling naughty. Well, ok, feeling a bit naughty! :lol:

I just tried these for the first time, too. (Actually... not quite true... I live in Japan so I'm pretty sure I've had large chunks in oden before) I added them to a stir fry. I like them, but I'm used to weird textures and fishy flavored things after living here for 6 years!
I'm in today! Determined to really go for it this week, I did my fasts as normal last week but definitely over-compensated on feast days with a massive Chinese takeaway over the weekend!! Good luck fellow-fasters!! X
Should be in today but will keep it for tomorrow instead as I have a big day tomorrow and plenty of things to do today. I will maybe do someting in between, kind of 16:8 or just skip lunch (had breakfast at 5:00 am) and won't count calories tonight

First workday after the holidays and I'm fasting. Worried that, if I don't, this WOE (that I really like) will slip away and I'll go back to the old me.

I have a substantial salad for lunch and cheat's quorn chilli with baked beans for dinner (266 and 264 respectively). Both, I know, will fill me nicely so I can get through the day. Plus, I'm going to be very busy!

I am in too. Just liquids until this evening. Had a food filled weekend so need to get my head back in the game. I have been craving salmon and cream cheese bagels but I might forego that and have salmon scramble on a bagel for my dinner. We shall see. Good luck everyone.

Am starting to look forward to these days. I know it sounds weird but after a busy weekend and big Sunday dinner Monday's fast feels right.
Partially fasting today. Been invited to BF's house for dinner with his new flatmates. One is vegan so dinner will be vegan indian food and probably fairly low calorie but still not sure I can make it less than 500kcal. So I'll just fast until dinner, not worry about dinner calories and may then try to do proper (possibly liquid) fast days tomorrow and Thursday instead.

Ate a LOT over the weekend so it feels appropriate to skip breakfast and lunch today. Not even hungry.
I'm fasting today after a long break from 5:2! Need to get back on track in time for my friends wedding in August. I currently have a size 14 body and a size 12 dress!
Yep I'm fasting today. My second one since starting 5:2 last week. I've stocked up on New Coventry Garden soups to make what I can eat a bit more interesting. I've already been to the gym this morning to run on the treadmill as I'm trying to build up my fitness as well as lose weight.

Hopefully I will be better than my first fast day. I was so snappy & irritable by the end of the day lol
