A bit late in the day for me to add to this but I've been fasting today. Only had approx. 280 calories this evening. Not sure what else to eat. Hope everyone's had a good day. The weather's been glorious and long may it continue.
I've been off it for the last 2 weeks...4 fasts that didn't go well as I was so hungry in the evenings. I was fed up with myself but after reading some posts on here I decided that this is a marathon, not a sprint so I began again today. And I'm amazed as today has been the easiest fast ever! Not particularly hungry, salad and cottage cheese for tonight's meal so if its been tough today hang in there...every days new and a new start.
Finished my first fast today :) Just wanted to ask what calorie counting tools ppl use, I used calorie count but I'm a little sceptical about the figures. Well I came in a 504 so I'm pleased.
Another fast day done, and it was an easy one. I don't count calories at all Bex, can't be bothered but I do have a reasonable idea about them.I would never stress over exact amounts and it seems to work. Off to bed now, up early to feed my B&B guests their full English in the morning.
Not quite a fast for me, but at 676 cals, I'm happy; plan the same tomorrow.
Could live like this....
So my goal today was to actually fast, not eat food until I really needed to... and I've fasted until 4:30 pm today! Before that it was nothing but coffee in the am and lots of tea. Now a little fruit and veg before I cycle home 6 miles! I was hoping I could go a little longer now that I'm entering my 14th week of fasting and I did! Yay!

I really think the extended fasts will do some great repairing in my body! I'm really excited and thinking about not packing any food on Thursday, and just doing the light dinner - 500 cals as an evening meal.

I now see that I can do it :) I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to just skip the food most of the day... and I did! :) Yay!
Another fast day down. Well the fast part. Just had dinner of warm spinach salad with bacon and hard boiled egg. Very satisfying. And still room for a little frozen treat :geek:

I've also been trying to start my day after fast with a workout, like a 30 min jog or HIIT workout. I've found it to be a good start back into the feast day and keeps me a bit more mindful of eating well. That is the strategy, anyway...
