Sallyo the best pizza in Leichardt is at Morettis on Norton Street. For food shopping it's got to be Norton St Grocer. Oh dear hungry now might have to join you down there!!!!!

I buy bulk italian sausages at Norton st grocers, sqeeze out the meat and make the best bolognaise sauce. I suggest you go to Bar Italia (171 norton st leichhardt) and have their pistacio gelato- it is amazing!.tomorrow of course. Sorry everyone. I'll stop now.

Julianna, I am happy with my results so far but I have always had small hips, legs, arms no matter how heavy I got. My middle is so grossly disproportionate I just can't stand it anymore. The past couple of years I have worn extra thick padded bras as an optical illustion to even myself off(lol)

I am in today, even though the Gods seem to be conspiring against me...Really hungry (may have been the 2 glasses of wine last night) and there have been delicious smells surrounding me. In the office today, someone had burger and fries (should be a law against that thing before noon) that was giving out incredible smells. Then on quick walk home, the Indian temple next door had wafts of naan bread and curry spewing out of its kitchens. And then just before home, the smell of fried chicken. All on empty stomach. I am just settling down to lunch of cabbage soup, toast and curried veg and fish. It's a big lunch today (350 calories worth) but I have my performance review with my boss this afternoon and can't be light headed for that discussion. So it will be a light dinner - just at a time when I probably will want to hit a tub of ice-cream!!

TiareMaori, your post is making my tummy rumble!!
I'm in today, but it's only 6am. I've been awake since 4.30ish because it's unusually warm here, and I'm now really hungry. Might have to give in before the days even started! :starving:

Morning all, I'll post in here today as I am 38 hours through a 48 hour fast of eating roughly 650 calories. As wednesday was supposed to be my only fast I thought I'd carry on and have my fast lunch (about 170 cals) today as my husband and I are eating out tonight.

I'm feeling pretty good about it so far I even manged Belly dancing while fasted!

and it's only 8 sleeps til my proper holidays YAY!
good luck to everyone

I'm in today. I think I might find it difficult today because I fasted on Tuesday this week instead of my normal Monday (work lunch for someone leaving on Monday). So with only Wednesday between fast days, I think I might struggle.

I have a pack of garbanzo beans in my desk drawer in case I get the munchies this afternoon and have a lovely home made veggie soup (made by hubby) to look forward to tonight, so hopefully I'll get through it okay. I'm more worried about getting grumpy and snapping at people than actually giving in to snacking.

Great weekend of dancing in Devon to look forward to though, so hopefully the sun will keep shining, and it's back to normal tomorrow

Not sure yet, as I fasted on Tuesday too. However, after eating far too much over the last few weeks and gaining lbs I am feeling big bellied and bloated. Just drinking morning cuppas, catching up with older posts I have missed, and not feeling hungry so will play it by ear. To fast, or not to fast, that is the question....

Morning Thursday fasters, count me in.
This is so much easier when the sun is out. Water and black tea until tonight, then I'm thinking maybe a mushroom omelette or maybe salmon or maybe chicken or maybe stir fry or a veggie soup........ Mmmmmmm food....
