Fasting Thursday 11th July
10 Jul 2013, 20:44
Morning everybody. It's Thursday and I am fasting. Who else is in. Really stressed at the moment with work issues and some other things. Not sure how it will go today. But I have decided to be flexible and if it all feels too hard to eat normally instead. Problem is I have a big social weekend coming up so would really like to get my fast in today.

Hi

It's only 10.30 on weds and I was going to fast today (yesterday to you byoung!) but felt rubbish so gave up. Having eaten well but not too much today I may fast tomorrow depending on how I feel. Got friends coming round so it may not be strictly 500cals but it will be healthy - salads, ham, maybe feta and some bread. If it's going to be hot I don't want to be cooking much!

I'll see what tomorrow brings!

I was driving home from the gym this morning thinking about what to eat for breakfast when I remembered it was a fast day. I was a bit disappointed.
So coffee for breakfast and lunch. Good fasting everyone.

I'm here too for my usual Thursday fast. Have just had some black coffee (I drink it like that all the time so is no problem for me) and trying to figure out what dinner might be, maybe some sushi. Have a treat in store for this afternoon: going to the hairdresser's. Weekly grocery shopping after that which I quite enjoy too. : )

Hugs to you byoung.

Ah we'll Wineoclock, you can have that breakfast tomorrow!

Have a great day everyone! :clover:

I'm in today, have had an hours walk this morning or shall I say I was walked by our 35kg German Shepherd Dog.

Plan to eat just dinner tonight, not sure what thou, maybe eggs and mushrooms. I wish I still had some ratatouille left from Monday's fast it was just beautiful, then ate the rest for breakfast the next day, even better.

Happy Thursday everyone

Thanks Julianna and AiriR for your commiserations over my loss of breakfast.
Dinner tonight is Porotos granados from the River cottage veg book. Basically a pumpkin and bean stew. New recipe for me so hope it works.
Enjoy the hairdresser AiriR and hope the day isn't too stressful Byoung

I'm here, been for a swim, a bit chilly!
Hope the day goes well byoung, stress makes it very hard.

I won't be fasting my usual days next week as I'm off to Airlie Beach for 5 days- hope the swimming will be a bit warmer up there.
I was going to fast on Sat but now have a family B'day party so I'll do 16:8 on Fri and Sat before I go on Sunday. I'm not brave enough to do 3 fast days in a row.
Then I'll fast on Friday when I'm back.
Have a good day everyone. I have a few tummy rumbles already- oh well, more herb tea for me.

Thank you AiriR, Winoclock and Gigi55 for your good wishes. Obviously working really well as I am cruising through the day. Not feeling hungry really and I am half-way to dinner sometime after 6pm. Oh and have also tackled some of the stressors at work head-on and got them out of the way too.

Hi, Here I am in Sydney on holiday. Flexible. I haven't eaten anything yet, but I have been drooling over the shops in Leichhardt. I'll see how long I last but i'm not promising to stick to 500 cals today!

Hello down under friends. Just finished my July 10 fast and overdid a bit. Think I came up to 600 cals but I will not worry about it. I try every fast day to do only liquid but fail every time. Good luck to you all. I will try again july 12

Clairemarie,

You seem to be getting good weight loss with what you are currently doing. Why give yourself grief to do something that you find really hard?

Impatience I guess. I feel wonderful but when I catch a glimpse of myself as I pass a window that inner tube still sticks out and I hate it.
