Hi Candy, oh how I miss our bean. :frown:
I don't think she realises what a comfort she is to others.
Keep well all four legged friends of ours.

What's happened to me....
I'm doing my online shopping and keep skipping past everything. The kids will be moaning that there's no food in the house. But how can you shop for others when you're not tempted /obsessed by food anymore.
Need to go back and get their gave bits,

Sorry, sorry, sorry and SORRY! I think I've bean hiding away because I'm just a naughty foodie Bean (I still haven't eaten crisps though!)
Love your new Avatar Oatesy! So, how's it going? Are you still very much in the "zone"? You seem to be doing so well. In all the time I've known you I don't think you've faltered once have you? Well done you. This is one proud Bean ;)
Not much news here. I've bean busy listing items and experiencing "zombie" attacks in between (very appropriate for this time of year). Not looking forward to the fireworks tonight if I'm honest. We usually just keep the girls beside us and turn the TV up. They don't seem too bad about it. Quite brave for them actually!
Yesterday I had my hair cut. I'm really quite short now. Am leaning towards going bluey/grey. We'll see.
So what are you up to this weekend Oatsey? Anything exciting?
Candy @Candicemarie how are you today? Sounds as though you've been a bit poorly. Have you bean overdoing it lately and everything is catching up? Hope you have a good weekend.
Once again, I apologise for being so aloof. If only I can get my mojo back. Don't hit me TOO hard with that wet fish....ow!!

Hello stranger.
Don't worry, candy, madcat and others have been keeping me company in your absence.
Are you fasting or not.
Any reason why you can't try and jump back on, just look at your posts from this time last year.
Our cats just come indoors if they're scared. Chicken is safely locked up in her house. And daughter doesn't want to go out in the cold to see fireworks so no Oooooh Ahhhhh from these parts.

Yes, sorry, I haven't bean much of a buddy. And you're right, what reason have I for not fasting? I must admit I find it so much easier when I'm on my own. While my parents were in Canada I really stuck to my ADF regime and even 16:8 on my "off" days. Now they're back its difficult. I really must get back on the fasting wagon. Just remind me of your regime. I know you're cutting your carbs but how many times a week are you fasting? You must be 11 something now are you?
Anyway, your buddy Bean is back. Just wish its a fasting Bean :( I must start again on Monday. Thats the answer.
Is the weather horrible where you are today? Its windy, cold and grey here. Its always like this on bonfire night isn't it. I always worry about the poor creatures that have been sheltering from the weather in those bonfires. Doesn't bear thinking about does it.
Oh berlimey, what on old humbug...

Bonfire night? Therewas a very noisy one here on 5 th. It was pretty but i hope no repeat performance tonight .
Bean a bit grotty this last week or so,Bean.
Not too good either on the eating properly front, will try better along with you Bean on Monday following my birthday blow out tomorrow
I' m beginning to feel its really hard to get that mojo back once it goes  but we must start clipclopping again Beano! X

Oh poor Candy, I sympathise. It sounds as though we are both in the same boat at the moment. What a pair!
Hey! Did you say it was your birthday tomorrow? Oh wow! You must have a relaxing day today so that you can celebrate in style tomorrow. What d'you think you'll do?
I look forward to fasting with you on Monday. Maybe we can help each other on the encouragement side :)

Yes.... My work here is done.
You just needed a kick up the bum didn't you Miss Bean.
Currently, having completed sober for October I am doing 4.3 16.8 and not counting carbs, just not choosing to eat them daily.
Also I'm logging all foods every day with madcat, debs and Wendy on MFP it helps with too many way hay celebratory days.
Since the Xmas challenge started I've lost 5 lbs. nit 11 something yet as only just undone the summer naughtiness.
See you on Monday, bright and early. How about you just drop breakfast and white carbs for a while, get your body used to a tighter regime.
Just been to class, it's now my weekly weigh in. Fingers crossed as I have not been logging as carefully this week. Ne excuses just stupidity on my part. Yes I've not lost this week I've gained now 12.6.8 was it the red wine I ask myself. :frown:

Oh you're still doing 4:3?! Well done! Its been quite a while now hasn't it. I'm very impressed :) You do impress me, Oatesy. I know you love your wine so well done for avoiding it throughout October. How did it go? Was it as tough as you thought it would be?
Actually, you mentioning breakfast I have bean good in that I simply don't have breakfast any more. I just don't fast that's my problem. However, come Monday I hope to get back on the horse (so to speak). And I'm hoping to be joined by Candy Cane who has also bean struggling lately too.
Aww its so good to be back!
Bean xx
