Don't know what's happened to my brain but I just can't get a photo on here. It says it has to be a max width of 400 and height at least 1000. That's a weird shape!

Still won't work. I've set it to 400 pixels which automatically changes to 300 for the height. Why won't it work?

Good morning.
I'm doing a Full fast today, need to rest my belly. Will do another on weds, and I'm ditching alcohol til NYE. Off to my nieces for NYD so will keep it lowish for those two days so I can drive. Haven't weighed as will wait till my usual Saturday weigh-in. I wonder what the damage will be.

I'm taking the decs down and having a good clear up today. It's blue sky and frost here , Dry January will help me Get to goal I hope.
Looking forward to that empty tum feeling at bed time. And the flat tum in the morning,

Well done for fasting today Oatesy! I must say I'm looking forward to fasting myself. I have to ask (because I've forgotten...its probably all those cookies I've eaten...see avatar!) but do you tend to eat your fast meal in the evening or at lunch time? I only asked becuase reading Krista Varaday's (? spelling) Eat Every Other Day book, people tend to get better results if they eat their 400 cals at lunch time and then perhaps have a 100 cal snack in the evening. Anyway, thought I'd give it a go and see what happens...but not until the 2nd January!
Theres definitely too much food around at Christmas isn't there. Makes you feel greedy. I tend to overeat because I want the food gone so that when I start fasting again I won't have any temptations!
So, good luck with your fast today and here's to a week of successful eating and weigh-ins.
What's happening over at the Candy Corner?
Bean

All went wrong when the chicken I cooked felt and smelt wrong, son has flu, pyrexia, vomiting, achey alll over, not eating, asleep all day. Fan on in bedroom......
So takeaway ordered, and wine drunk. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day,
Plus that mince pie with Brandy cream was consumed after all. @carorees your fault entirely.
:starving:

Yay Its a miracle......he's better.....was so lovely being helpful mummy again.. :dazed:
But glad he's better, for his sake.

So my news today is that we've paid for our big trip (skint.com now) 86 days and counting, today I have logged us in for VIP lounges via our bank account, free wifi, newspapers, drinks, alcohol, snacks and away from the husstle bustle. And booked our car park and hotel for the night before, in a Marriott next door to the airport, can get rid of luggage the night before too. So that's 6 hotels we're got booked now. Oh this travelling lark is getting easier. Can also book our Seats 60 days before departure!!!!

Hello there...
What are your New Years plans then bean?
I find NYE is an anti climax so we usually have a nice steak dinner with champers then try and stay awake till Big Ben chimes.
I'm also looking forward to getting back to my normal routine, I'm a creature of habit and as @callyanna said I need to "move my bum", miss my exercise classes, miss my fasts, but also greatful for this family time too.
We are away for almost two weeks over Easter, the Easter weekend we will be in Florida keys....so you know my goal needs to be that I'm maintaining by then as there's no way I will be able to lose any weight while there.

Watch out for Dexter while you're in Florida!!
As for me, I don't normally hold any NYE parties! I usually wait up and have a toast and then go to bed. Pretty pointless stuff really. I don't like fireworks and neither do the girls, although they're so brave
I guess the best New Years I experienced was for the Millennium. I joined my sister and her then boyfriend (now hubby) and we stood on the Westminster Bridge overlooking the Eye. It was a great experience....except that I was desperate for a riddle ree and spent 10 hours holiding on    We were so squashed, there were so many people and the police kept us in a tiny area. People kept pressing up against my bladder. Urghhh its was agonising. We then had a long walk to our destination. Man Alive! I don't know HOW I held on...but I did!
