Keep taking the pills Candy!!
Oh my! You really ARE starting the new year with a bang Carie! Good luck!!
Well, I'm fasting today. I'm a bit more organised this time and have my trusty steed M&S by my side. I am aiming to have my chicken dinner around lunch time (ish) and then a cuppa soup in the evening. I've managed to do my yoga routines, so I'm really in the zone.
Happy Sunday buddies!

Well done bean, will you be resurrecting the ADF tent, it will help anyone else starting it. Or starting a new 2015 one maybe?
Marks and spencer will keep you full, and I guess that if you prefer eating your main meal at lunch time you should,
Also exercise first thing in the morning is the best time to do it as you've fasted over night and burn more fat because of it. I know you're not doing it for massive weight loss but it will set you up for the day. I love morning exercise the best. By bedtime you've forggote you've done it.
I can't eat big meals at lunchtime as it makes me sleepy. But saying that I may try it tomorrow as I've got a class at 6.30 and am not back to work til Tuesday.

Oh good morning to you! Yes, I didn't know whether to start a new ADF thread. I guess it won't be such a bad idea.
I AM trying to go for massive weight loss (what made you think I wasn't?) but I am unable to do the sort of workouts you do. Yoga is very good for toning and stretching muscles without bulking. Apparently if I do one particular yoga DVD 3 times a week for a month I will notice the difference....if I stick with it for 3 months, I'll be a completely different person (as long as I'm not a man I don't mind...although... )
Are you exercising at all today Carie?

Sorry I meant the yoga not being for massive weight loss.
I did yoga (evening class) about 15 yrs ago, used to love the relation bit at the end, fell asleep most times
No Sunday is my rest day, but I need to start training for the half in September, as I need to do more of them before so it's a common thing for me rather than me reaching peak at that time. Plus I've developed a cold since yesterday morning, so will stay in and carry on de- cluttering my kitchen cupboards.

Oh boy! Is the North Run in September?! You're wishing your life away there Carie!
I think yoga IS good for weight loss. Look at Geri Halliwell all those years ago. Mind you, I guess she did other exercise as well. The trouble is, I can't do my aerobic workouts that I used to. Well not yet anyway. Maybe one day...
Oh dear! De-cluttering day, eh? Actually there's something rather therapeutic about getting everything clean and tidy for the new year.
Hope that cold disappears as quickly as it arrived. Enjoy your day of rest.
I'm just off to do my yoga now...

Oh Candy that reminds me of the scene in Terms of Endearment when Shirley Mclaine says to Jack (Nicholson) "Would you like to come up and see my Renoir?" Very amusing ;)

Well it's mighty quiet in here today. I've had a bit of a busy and somewhat stressful one as I had to take my darling pops to the vets. She's bean poorly the last few days. Turns out Lily's Kitchen is equivalent to giving them lobster and steak every day! Oh dear, my poor girls have got to go back on bland sensitive food. Pops is on antibiotics now and will hopefully pick up again soon. I worry so much that she's going to get ill again :(
So have both my buddies bean fasting today?
Bean

Big Bean hugs coming your way (the hugs are big, not Bean...although...doh!)

Hi @nursebean - sorry to hear one of your babies is poorly - horrid when trying to treat them goes wrong! Hope she is soon better. All our kitties are in rude health here. I have been feeling very tired today - apparently it's "Post-Xmas carb drop" so self-inflicted! Still - tomorrow will be better won't it? Hope you manage to keep doing the yoga and steer clear of all these nasty things going round like poor @Carieoates has got.
