Re: Bean & Oates - Mad Eaters!

@Nursebean your reaction to the hair bleach scared me a little. Maybe you've developed an allergy to one of the ingredients--I'm worried that next time you could have a full-blown anaphylactic reaction. Do you have an epi-pen? (sp) Maybe you should see doc for allergy test. (Sorry to come on like your mum, here, but I do have children older than you are   )

Just a little worried about you.

@nursebean - I will tell George that - he will be thrilled!

Thank you for your concern @Marybeth . I must admit I was quite worried at the time. I don't know whether I used too much or whether it's the baking soda I added to the mix. I think you're right, though...I should get an Epi-Pen. In all the years I've bean dyeing my hair (and they have bean many) I have NEVER had a reaction like this one today.

Good morning.
Chicken noodle cuppa soup, toast ...mmm....sounds like the two of you are really in the zone at the moment. I like to save a few for a cosy hot chocolate in the eves. Stops my belly rumbling when I get into bed,
So what's on the menu today, we have butterflied lamb leg with green beans, Savoy cabbage, carrots roast potatoes. Maybe a pud when I go and buy it,
Actually I might make some Xmas pud ice cream with the ready made custard I've got in my freezer, that's me sorted what about the rest of my gang!

I was going to say what a healthy meal your going to have Oatesy...and then came the ice-cream!! What can I say?!!
Well, I had a rather lovely lunch out with my folks. I had a starter of bubble and squeak (left the hollaindaise...way too much of it), then I had seafood medley (cod, salmon, sea bass + prawns in filo pastry) with triple cooked chips  Anyway, I saved some fish for the girls and I left some of the chips! (this is me thinking about whether I'm actually hungry or not...and I was getting pretty full!) I was so full, in fact, that I didn't order pudding! Now that is pretty impressive...believe me!
Don't know what I'll have tonight. Not hungry at the moment (although I have eaten a Creme Egg... )

I must admit I did have some wine and there was a bit of a delay before I ate (bear in mind I'd only had a CupASoup the night before  ) so I was a little bit on the tipsy side by the time the food arrived. Its all a bit numb then isn't it. Silly Bean...I wasn't going to have a drink either. So weak

Well done bean for showing the pud the door. That's part of the journey isn't it, the fact that we know our bodies better, and can say no at the right time, :like:
Our dinner changed slightly, spiralized courgette and carrot, with dauphinois potatoes. No pud.
We are in sync today, I've got a ready meal from waitress in my fridge as I'm shooting off to class and the rest of the family will be having something else. Plus my cuppa soup is in my bag ready for a warm top up midday,

How did your class go buddy?
I'm sad now because all my food has gone and I have to wait until tomorrow lunch time before I can munch again! Mind you, isn't it a wonderful feeling when you wake up on a feast day!!

Sounds as though you had a great class session last night Oatesy. Well done. I wish my tum felt as flat as yours obviously did, but I do like being in the zone.
Did either of you watch the Horizon programme last night? I found it interesting. I have yet to take the test myself but am looking forward to tonight's programme.
Enjoy your feast day girls
