Just watched the latest recorded episode of Biggest Loser...it was makeover week. I want a makeover too!

No moon around here unfortunately. It has been absolutely pouring down for the last few days, all the rivers are flooding and the place is knee deep in mud!! However, I am loving it!!
We have huge moon but it is probably frozen in time it is so cold tonight and tomorrow. So hard to be active in this weather!

Ohhhh, I see a makeover tent coming in the next few months. There have been some transformations taking place. I've ALWAYS worn my hair curled, you know like Texas big and curly. Have been experimenting with a flat iron and wearing it straight. It's hard not to have my "security hair" to hide under.
Would love BIG hair..only part of me that is thinnish!

A hint for those wanting a makeover or a bit of pampering on the cheap. Find out if your local college does hairdressing or beauty courses. They are ALWAYS after people for the trainee's to practice on. Whether its your hair or a pedicure (love my pedicures) facials or massages, they have to practice and its not good for them to only practice on each other. Young skin and all that. I regularly go for a facial and pedicure and only pay £6 for the facial and £3 for the pedicure. Sometimes its free. Hairdressing they have to charge for the cost of the dyes and perming lotions,but you generally don't get charged at all or not much for the actual washing, styling, cutting and blow drying.
If you are looking for something to do tonight, go outside with a pair of binoculars or a telescope and hunt up the supernova that's just been sighted in the 'Cigar Galaxy' . Somewhere in Ursa Major. Messier 82 (M82) to be precise.

I love going out at night with bins, the sky here is so amazingly clear you can see stars right down to the horizon. Not today though, gloomy and humid!!
