Re: New! Insomniacs tent...

Hello, insomniacs. I'm new in this tent. It's quarter to 5 am and I've been awake for hours. I wonder if there's any point in going back to bed now. I've baked the bread which I'd left to rise overnight. I've been reading the forum and imagining everybody on the other side of the world going about their day. Kitchen smells of bread and strawberries.

Hello Sallyo, I'm just about to start dinner. Really cold here, dark and miserable, feels like the middle of the night. I'd stay up now if I were you and maybe have a little snooze later.

Bread, strawberries, sunshine and summer... oh bliss, but not the insomnia bit.

Thanks for your warm welcome. I did go back to bed because I have a big day today and won 't be able to do any napping and may even be out late. Now I feel crap. Still, it's a lovely sunny day and breakfast calls , so I'll probably improve. One thing I've learned from a life time of insomnia is that I can get by on a lot less sleep Thani think I can.

I am really hoping to get to bed early tonight. Lads arguing, pain flaring and depression setting in hasn't helped. That plus only 5 hours sleep last night as well isn't making me feel too brilliant. I have a very busy day tomorrow as well, with no chance of napping at my daughters as one of things I'm doing is dismantling her bed for removal.

If I pop up here in an hour shoo me off to bed please.

Hiya both! Yes, ballerina, a bit rubbish, started yesterday really. I have been concerned about the lack of safety awareness on site and some very gung ho men wanting work done that shouldn't be in this weather. It seems to be 'get the job doen at all costs' at the expense of people's safety. Even the safety guy did a bad job IMHO

At the very least!!! All talk and no do!!
As long as I have done what I thought was right, although I have upset a couple of people - hey ho! AND it's a fast day, so doubly grumpy!
