Woo hoo!. You bet. Thx for the welcome. Just been out to PF Changs in Walnut Creek to stay awake and watched the game (sort of).... Thought I'd check that the Brits are sleeping properly.

Hello, international gang!
I haven't loitered within tent for a few nights... due to the fact I SLEPT!!
Contrary to popular expectations (and mine), no alcohol enables sleep... shock horror! Yes, the lack of even 3 glasses of vino has rendered me sleepful (well, wakeful is a word, so why not sleepfull?)
This probably won't last, but lungfuls (lots of 'fuls, here!) of fresh air, exercise and healthy food and drink seem to be just the ticket!!
Happy sleeping everyone!

Golly. Dryathlons and magnesium are helping fasters sleep. I'm going to bed soon. Trying to stay awake. No @debs around?

Yep, I'm here! Just got back from a wet drive around, ex-TC is dumping so much rain around, all the creeks are flowing. Lovely!!

Learning so much from this thread - PF Changs (this count as a 'dive bar' @Betsysgr8?) wet drives, no alcohol, sleepfulness ...

Got the mag tabs ... But forgot to take them ...

Oh no, I forgot too last night. Obviously having them by the bedside table doesn't quite work

I am the opposite, a glass of wine helps me drop off. Roll on February!

Hello fellow Dryathlete @Babyfish. I'm hoping this will give me the 'tools' to choose whether to have a drink or not. So far, I have found it surprisingly easy and I don't want to slip back into old, 'well worn' ways. Good luck to you and roll on February x

@Silverdarling PF Changs is NOT a dive bar, lol It's a very trendy restaurant that classifies itself as a "China Bistro" http://us.yhs4.search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt= ... hangs.com/ it is also featured in alot of "eat this not that" articles as the "not that" option. Very rich and salty menu but delicious as an occasional treat.

If it counts as 'not that' (lol!) - I hope @rawkaren has been good!
