I'm pretty good this week! I did two fasts already and been eating good stuff too. I think it has made a difference to my mood. I'm also settling in a bit more here as I'm starting to be bossy around the office - and they seem to be happy to be led. How's life in the desert?

Fly home next Tuesday thank goodness, but at least it has gone a bit quicker this time. SSooooo tired though :sleepy: , probably drive about 2000km on dirt roads teh last two weeks and more to come.
Don't you get a milk delivery anymore?

Hope next Tues comes quickly for you debs, you must be so ready for it!
Not many people seem to have milk delivered any more,as far as i know..sadly..
We don't have a milkman where i live now..i guess it just got too cheap in the supermarket and put most of the milkmen out of business :(
I used to love hearing the milkfloat outside and the clink of the bottles being put down on the doorstep! X

Ps quite nice to have a little early morning stroll tho to the shop..
A neighbour goes over to the shop for a newspaper round about this time every day and his cat walks with him, doesn't cross the main road but waits at the kerb to accompany the man back home tail held high! ( cat that is,not man!)  x

Sounds very sensible, I sometimes listen to the early program on the interweb! Hope you get back to sleep!
Very upset this morning, had to remove a beautiful dingo off teh road that someone had run over, hat ehaving to do that when others are too lazy to stop.

Sorry, I ended up getting carried away on the movie thread. The clink of milk bottles - that takes me back. Nice to know you are going home soon Debs. I'm just a couple of weeks away now. I'm excited but also a bit apprehensive as I'm starting to settle in here now and I don't want to lose my momentum if that makes sense. An old colleague and friend is out here this weekend so I'm looking forward to showing her around.

Hope your fasting day goes well CM. I'm sure you won't get hangry. Just stay busy.

That's horrible Debs. You seem to have to do that alot. Can I ask what you actually do with the bodies if that is not too gruesome a question?

On radio, I listen to Ken Bruce on Radio 2 when I get up. It's recorded as the live feed is Jeremy Vine who I can't stand first thing in the morning.

My routine at night is to watch BBC breakfast TV before I go to bed!

I know, as you can see, it has affected my typing!

I drag them well off the road as the birds of prey will clean them up and I don't want them getting hit by vehicles as well, as they can't take off very quickly. Nature is very efficient like that.

I watch BBC World on the tv which is quite good in the morning and I get to see GMT before I go to bed!

Morning ladies, I didn't realise you were still up at 6am or I would have joined you. A poor nights sleep here and its cold as the heating doesn't kick in till 9 or 10 am when we are usually up. I am going to find my hot water bottle and stuff it under my feet which have lost all feeling apart from cold.

Julie, why not get yourself an electric blanket? We have ours on low all night, it's an under blanket as my feet are terrible for getting cold even when the rest of me is warm, couldn't do without my blanket now,

I'm not in bed, I'm at my desk. Plus electric blankets negate the cushioning effect of memory foam mattresses which hubby has to have. We are toasty in bed, usually too hot, but not downstairs at the moment. The boiler thingy is doing its thing, but I think its heating the water first as the radiators haven't come on yet. I could just be feeling the cold as I'm still in fast mode from yesterday.

Oh dear Julie, hope your feet warm up soon, mine are a total nightmare to keep at or near the same temperature as the rest of me. I tend not to climb out of my Primark Faux furlined UGG lookalikes till about June and I'm back in them again by September, at the LATEST! Brrrrr
