Can't patrol the tent tonight with Debs. Just finished a 16 hr slog and need to shut down. First call with the UK at 6am so I need my beauty sleep.

Calling the UK is MUCH more important, sleep tight!

Good morning campers

The children were most amused to tuck ME into bed at 8:30pm last night :sleepy: I've been awake on and off since then but at 02:45 my tummy rumbled (didn't eat yesterday) so I've just had a snack. A small piece of fruit cake and a cheese string plus decaf coffee with a sugar. A least now I can tell the littles that I did eat something - they were nagging me yesterday, they're quite right that I do always try to get them to eat when they're ill.

The cats are confused but happy - early breakfast!

Back to bed in a mo as the shivers are starting up again.

I'm wide awake at 4am :( I have a terribly sore throat and it's making me feel really sick and it's stopping me from sleeping.

Oh no poor you. Have you taken anything for it? Maybe some hot milk and honey to soothe your throat and send you back to sleep. At least you don't have to work on a Sunday?

Just some paracetamol to try dulling the pain. No, I'm so thankful I don't have to work and I did all my paperwork today so I can stay in bed all day

That is good then, lay around snoozing all day is a wise move! Be kind to yourself - you deserve it!

Indeed @Debs, I think tomorrow will be a stay in bed except for having a long bath day :frown:
