All the big rellies get hampers from us (hub makes sloe gin and I do chutney, fig salami, brandy oranges, pickled onions and honey mustard, plus a slab of local Bourne's Cheshire cheese; everyone seems to like the hampers!)
Littlies get whatever is appropriate for their age.
We have a family agreement not to spend a lot on each other.

I don't spend a vast amount, but there are 7 little ones.

 Penny your hamper prezzie sounds wonderful
I would much prefer that to some of the useless ones I get.

If you can't eat it or drink it then you don't get it from me, littles excepted of course. In years gone by my Christmas tree was a thing of wonder, I spent hours making sure everything was exquisitely wrapped and had spectacular bows etc. when all the presents were artistically arranged I then threw about 6 bags of chocolate money over it all to give a 'treasure' chest' look to it all. Any little visitors were invited to fill their pockets with some chocolate money as they left, they all adored it and so did I. I still do all of that but it is a very much reduced picture, still lovely though, ah :victory:

Ballerina x

When we were kids I don't think Halloween was such a big deal but I do remember doing duck apple in a the washing up bowl and making lanterns out of cut out swedes. It much less commercialised back then. :pumpkin: :skeleton:

Tonight we have been visited by two little skeletons bearing lanterns and small buckets to receive sweet offerings, closely followed by a group of scary vampire princesses with similar accoutrements.
I love my grandchildren! :0)
(They were accompanied by grown up minders so all were safe.)
