Should have realised Marybeth that that expression might cause confusion to non-Brits! and yes, CM, I do remember the frozen Jubblies, used to literally suck all the orange juice out of them until all that was left was a block of ice!

I know! By which time hands and mouth wd be similarly frozen!
Do you remember penny lollyices! Similar to jubbly but at least a stick to hold!
Ps lollyice in the North was ice lolly in the South!

Ah, but a MIVVI only came in strawberry or orange flavours if I remember correctly
but the Twicer had a split outer shell in different flavours!

Loved them both way back then do you remember Waggon wheels being enormous towards today's size or is that another age thingy Sue.

No They've definitely shrunk. Would't work on any waggon now!

Anyone remember penny arrow bars..and four Walker toffees for a penny..YZ chewing gum from a machine on wall outside the sweet shop..every 4 th time, you got a free packet of gum!

Oh, and that when I was young, my brother briefly drove a Good Humor truck for a summer job. That probably only makes sense to you if you grew up on the east coast of the US. It's an ice cream truck (lorry?). What a job!
