@Azureblue, I don't think that Peebles, and certainly not I, were casting aspersions on people who want to cut out any particular item from their diet. I was simply stating that I don't want to and that is what I enjoy about this WOL I'm very sorry if the discussion has upset you in any way. It certainly wasn't my intention.

No it's okay, I have wondered if I'd perhaps gone a step too far, maybe be <50g carb 2 days out of 5 and enjoy some home made real bread now and then?

Sounds like a good plan to me, @Azureblue!

I've found The Village Bakery (Waitrose) do a lovely seeded rye bread using a long ferment sourdough and it's tasty solid fare and no sugar - hurrah! I seem to need a little something extra through autumn/winter for warmth, having eaten virtually no bread for spring/summer.
So this seasons plan is <100g carb and <1500cals on feed days and <50g carb on fast days.
Fast days between 16-24 hours as needed by my weight.
How does that sound m'dears?

Hmm i should know better at my age..i dealt very well today with a friend really overreacting badly and unnecessarily about something
Managed to calm the situation down and get her back on an even keel
However my tum has been turning over all day and i have felt low..i dislike confrontations coz i' m usually left feeling troubled
Not much anyone can say but i' m just trying to get these unsettled vibes out of my system..xx

Hugs CM, I know that feeling and it takes awhile for your heightened senses to dull back down. Early to bed with a soothing warm drink and a good book x

I have two lively grandsons for the last afternoon of the hols, hoping for a sunny day when this mist burns off to get them out for a good run in the sun before incarceration in the institution of learning.
Then I can sleep for a couple of days ;0)
