I feel I deserve a wee boast. I did my 5k colour run today. As we ran we were pelted with powder coloured with food colouring. Great fun and the red, green, yellow and purple paint came off my white hair when I washed it. Yae.  :like: :like:

Fantastic running @Nessie, inspirational.
I've not done much today as we walked round Twycross Zoo a hundred (felt like) times yesterday, though I have walked into town for bits and bobs as OH was watching cricket whilst listening to football (rolls eyes).
Had to buy a new iron the other day as our two year old one blew up, like they usually do. New one (Philips steam) seems super efficient so ironing was less arduous today :0)
Oh the excitement of my life ...

Congratulations, @Merlin. What a shame they are so far away but at least there is now FaceTime and email. Hope mother and baby continue to do well.

@merlin Many congratulations, that's quite a growing brood, delightful

Couldn't sleep between 2.30 - 6.30 last night so ended up waking at 9am again. Gaaaah  Drinking tea at 5am is so tedious, though in the Middle Ages it was normal to wake for a couple of hours during the night and check on the cow and sheep, converse etc.

Oh dear, I fear Peebles may think I am being extreme by wanting to give up sugar :0(. Though I appreciate avoiding gluten has cut out bread/cakes/pastry/biscuits from my diet and thus other useful nutrients, surely sugar has no such goodness.
I feel a bit 'ticked off'. Probably shouldn't take it personally, I may look in to eating rye - would that be ok?
