2 temptations for me
A hot chocolate made with full milk, the kind you stir on the stove until it becomes thick and beautiful

A shot of bison vodka but I have to keep it for Christmas eve

The worse is yet to come as tomorrow I'll begin to cook all I need for Christmas (appetizers, sweets, chocolate, caramel, etc)
I'm a bit behind on this thread, but I must confess my last bedspin was so severe that I skipped the spin and blacked out completely.
We went to a wedding in a hotel, the drinking started at 12 noon, wedding ceremony was lovely, then a meal in a marquee. My husband has a managerial role and many of his "team" were there either all day or for the evening bit. I was a bit horrified when one wife had to be taken to bed at about 8pm. Then the evening bash started and out came the sambucca. I was downing triples before you knew it. And there my day ended. I cannot remember being escorted to bed by my husband and the grooms uncle. Needless to say I woke the next morning drank a glass of water and promptly threw it up. I have never drunk so much in my life and never will again. As as for downing cocktails, that ain't gonna happen either. Apparently my Macarena was unidentifiable. That feels better, lord.
They do say confession is good for the soul.

Its a fast day today and every time I open the fridge door I can smell yesterdays left over oven roasted chicken thighs.
Another confession from me, it was supposed to be a fast day yesterday, it started OK but my willpower was not strong enough for me to stop stuffing my face with naughty temptations. In went the chocolate, the biscuits, the nuts and bread - and out went my ability to get my eating under control. Then I tried to make it a 16:8 day but couldn't resist more goodies during the evening.

I might try again today but I've already eaten a good sized breakfast, I must try to keep busy, that might stop me thinking about food.

My son made some delicious cookies at the weekend, we still have two left.....
As my fast day soup tonight will be a roasted chicken one, I'll think of you while tasting it, Julie

I love marzipan...previous years have seen me eating the leftovers...probably a clue as to how I reached 16stone!

Me too Caro! Marzipan is dangerously scrumptious
Thanks for handing it in ..and be sure it will be safely destroyed! X

PLEASE don't destroy the marzipan - I'll take it. I will skip my turkey meatloaf and spaghetti squash and salad fasting dinner tonight so I have enough calories allotted for the marzipan.

I confess!! I ate some of the marzipan!! There was only a tiny bit left after doing the cakes....and it was home made.....and it was scrummy.... I couldn't waste it, could I?
Yesterday went out for drinks and nibbles after fasting all day - food was a bit mean and I succumbed to a pasty on the way home on the train (and loved it )

Tonight its mulled wine and mince pies, a carol concert, then out for dinner.

And meanwhile my son is cooking me dinner every night and stacking them up in the fridge, so tomorrow no chance of fasting.

I love the run up to Christmas
I'm out tonight. Girlie night. Can I hide in here please? I have already eaten my TDEE
Yes you can hide, but we ain't going nowhere, and confessional is open all hours so all is well.
I knew temptation was going to be there today so I skipped breakfast - went shopping with a friend - we had coffee and some lemon cheese cake! I had a bowl of stew and 2 small dumplings for tea! Temptations with Damage Limitation!
Well done @tickatapethats what i love to see...temptation damage limitation!
Did you eat the last two cookies@coffeetime hmmm?like @carieoatessaid confession is good for the soul..and the confessional box is open 24/7

Stay strong @Julieathome and remember the other T word..not temptation..Tomorrow..like Annie sang..i love ya tomorrow!
Julie you can have them tomorrow!
@Sylvestra brush up those crumbs...theyre all over the tent..and you too@Minumonline what a mess in here with pasty crumbs! x
I had a dinner out at the weekend, so I did an extra Fast day this week and felt in control! Love that feeling!!
Yeh its a great feeling physically and mentally! X well done x
Still one cookie left @CandiceMarie but I've been at the biscuits again - and the ice cream.
I'm going to resist all that stuff tomorrow....
I have a table full of homemade chocolate brownies, cornflake cakes, choccy digestives, crisps, cheese, crackers and sweets literally right behind me at work. This is absolute torture - don't care about the sugary stuff but that cheese has my name written all over it!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
