Annurca: Thank you but this week has been a hard one for me. I'm afraid I might end up with a gain when I weigh in on Friday. But I'm definitely back on track now. I realize some days or weeks will be harder than others. Just have to stay positive.

Do you have any teeny weeny stars, @justdee? You know, minuscule ones? Ones that represent a loss of 0.4lbs last week. No?? Well then I'll just slink out of here with my tail between my legs....
Still, look on the bright side....it could well have been a gain of 0.4lbs...or maybe more, who knows? So I'll just keep quiet...and pop back again on Monday to admit whatever's gone on this week!
Best of luck, one and all xxx

Any weight loss is reason to celebrate @Hazelnut20 = well done!
Thankyou @johns and @justdee for your motivating comments!
I was thinking back to my early 5:2 days (3 years ago!) and I used to check in to this site all the time, and I've got out of that habit. I think perhaps I need to get back into it, to strengthen my resolve.
One of the things I've really liked about being slimmer (besides feeling healthier), is how much nicer clothes look, and how it is so much quicker and easier to buy them when you don't have such a big apple tum. I must remember that, and not just take it for granted, I don't want to go back to the days of really struggling to find trousers!
@loveswalking Sorry it's been a hard week for you , and hope you haven't put weight on. But if you have, well, that's the point of a seven week challenge I guess, it evens out the ups and downs.

Hello everyone
14-day challenge and this really disheartening, I have done the best I can, but gave no loss, I am fasting today and I will do tomorrow until 11:00.
Thanks to all the posts, read them really makes you want to go ahead.
Hugs to everyone here in Brazil!

Hi @Ana56, I have to say it's a bit strange that you have stuck to the plan for 2 week without losing anything. Please tell us about what you are doing/eating/when etc. Maybe one of us will see something in your plan that you have missed. We'd all love you to start losing, so tell us about your WOE and let's see if we can help.
Hello Fearless Leader Dee @Justdee
I'm now at 3.9 pounds down for the challenge.

You don't need a little tiny star @Hazelnut20, if I had one I'd give you a big, massive star for all you have achieved in the last 9 and a half weeks. Be proud that week 9 was a success for you, and I'm sure this week will be too.
Aww, thanks TD!
May I just say how very lovely this thread is? It's so nice to see how much support is out there for us all. When one of us is having a tough time, there are plenty of others who can encourage and advise. It kind of goes in cycles...one minute we're riding high....the next minute we may have come crashing down....but it's the how we deal with it that matters!
You're all superstars in my book for giving the challenge a go! Remember that we're not competing - the battle is merely with ourselves...and we have chosen to stand up and hold ourselves accountable...whatever happens! It is great to read about the successes one minute and then to sympathise with someone the next - a total roller coaster really - just like life.
@justdee you are doing a wonderful job running this challenge - thank you so much xx

You're very welcome, running this challenge is really keeping me on track. I thought it would take up loads of time but it's actually keeping me focused by posting often. No, there's no competing with each other here, only encouraging and helping each other back up when we stumble. We all have our up and down days, it's great that we're all here for each other. I hope the stars haven't made it look competitive, that wasn't my intention. It was a incentive mini goal type thing.
