You should give yourself the loss, Dee! I don't track or even look at my weight if it's two pounds or less higher than my recent low. So every low number gets added to my tracker. that means about three or four weights a week are recorded. The other three or four, that are slightly higher, are ignored. I use the knowledge I was a pound higher to behave and stick to the program more carefully.

I counted the half lb on my tracker, fingers crossed weigh in next week will be a bumper loss. I'm going to really focus this week, make sure I get a few lbs off. I really want to pull away from that 12st (168lbs) mark. I know from past experience my body shape really starts to change as I get nearer 11st (154lbs).
Hello everyone Challenge
day of fasting today, I have done my well right fasts, but the problem has been the days of not fasting, many visits, many dinners, lots of good food!
If you do not lose ... but if you do not win, it is very good!
Hugs from Brazil, Olympics! much concern!

@Ana56 How dispiriting not to have lost anything. I don't know if it is encouraging or not, but I only lost 2 pounds in my first 5 weeks, and a total of three pounds by the end of my 7th week, and I did go on to reach target in the end. However, I know I was changing shape a bit at that time, which kept me going. (I'm off target at the memnt though)
Can I suggest that if you haven't already, that you take lots of measurents, eg wrist, neck, calf etc not just waist hips, bust. Because there are weeks when you change shape even if the scales don't register a change. I'm not quite sure how this happens, but it does.
Did you work out how to look at other people's trackers? Click on the cog by their name. Some are set to private, but I used to find looking at those quite interesting, as not everybody lost a neat pound a week! Keep going!
Thanks for listening! I am firm in my decision to continue with 5: 2, although it has not lost much weight, I'm happy! my body is getting different, the clothes are better, I'm losing measures!
They are 2 years of weight loss, a great loss ever achieved!
Big Hugs Brazilians !!!

Well now....I'm limping in quietly with a 0.6lb loss this week!!
Started the challenge 2 weeks ago at 182.4lbs. Today I weigh 181.4lbs. So that's a whole pound down, whoop whoop! I should be grateful for that on a couple of levels...firstly, I have cut myself a bit of slack these past two weeks, since finishing the 8 week BSD. Not gone mad by any stretch of the imagination, but this weekend was a particularly sociable one...where drinks may well have been consumed...along with a number of pudding tasters...& some actual lunch....that wasn't yoghurt! Secondly, I have been pre-menstrual for the past two weeks (menopause appears to be thinking about beckoning...finally) - so I've been retaining water throughout...but with no end in sight. I'm sure this is skewing the scales by a couple of pounds anyway, but can't claim any victories until I see them staring me in the face when I look down at the scales!
So....I'll take that very modest 1lb loss...and see if I can't do a bit better than that by the end of the challenge. God loves a trier......

@Hazelnut20 Well done on losing a pound. Who cares if it took 2 weeks? You know what usually happens after a successful diet? Most people regain. not only did you NOT regain, you managed a modest lost for two weeks in a row. I'd say that's a job well done!!
Now it's your turn to learn how to incorporate life into your eating plan. You're learning how to share a drink or a celebration and not have it turn into weigh gain. And you handled it brilliantly. You can't have yogurt and strawberries for lunch for the rest of your life (strawberries are so expensive and awful in January!) .
Please cut yourself some slack!! There's no reason to be quite so hard on yourself. You've got this!

I'm in the same boat, my 2lbs jumped back on too.
Today is my fast day, I've been having a problem eating later in the evening and over doing it. So tonight I'm trying to keep myself from snacking. I used my spiralizer to make a nice zucchini with marinara to keep my calories low, but next time some ground Turkey will be nice. Have a great week.
Spiralisers are great at making a small amount look huge aren't they? Love mine although cleaning it isn't so much fun. Hope the zucchini kept the munchies at bay Woods_Woman and good luck.
UK high temperatures mean humans retain water to cool their bodies, so please don't worry about what the scales are showing this week, but do drink plenty of plain still water and keep up your salt intake :0)

I'm back from vacation. I did a TON Of walking, but we also ate a lot of delicious food. I don't like to weigh myself the day after I fly, so I will weigh myself tomorrow and see how I made out! And then time to get serious for the rest of the summer!
@Woods_Woman I did have an amazing time in Seattle. It was my 6th trip out there!

It was my first time using the spiralizer, it was so good and filling that I felt like I was cheating.

Well done on your loss @hazelnut20. You seem to be adjusting well to a more 'normal' WOE after BSD and still managing to lose . I love what @Tracieknits said, spot on
Well done on your loss @Azureblue, you are doing great. Keep it up
