Yay! It's the 1st October. Looking forward to starting this challenge.
Starting weight: 63.6kg
Goal weight: 58.6kg
Method: 5:2, being careful about what I eat on other days and walking at least 10,000 steps every day.
Wishing us all plenty of motivation, support and will power!
It's lovely to see so many new faces (said the relative newcomer, herself). :)

Welcome, @Frokenfemtva and @Wannalose. I hope that you enjoy your experience of 5:2 or whichever pattern of IF that you adopt and achieve your goals during this challenge.

Good Luck! :clover:
Yoohoo! I'm a bit late to the party, but please let me in!
I learned just before last Christmas that maintenance is very hard, so I only want to lose 3kg, but to keep it off. I also intend to improve my fitness after reading about the effect on heart health. Exercise and I are strangers (although I am busy gardening most of the day) so this will be the tough part!
Start: 60kg Goal: 57kg
Method: 5:2 with no biscuits/cakes in between meals except at weekends
Extra challenge... Gym once a week, fast walk round the block (very steep hill) twice a week.
Starting weight: 117.5kg
goal: 105kg
Method:4-3, and 16/8 on other days. High protein, minimal carbs.
High Intensity Interval Training 3 days per week.

I've virtually eliminated all bread, pasta and fruit juice from my diet this year.
Next aim: banish empty calories - cold condiments (ketchup, bbq sauce, mayo), drinks
*Waves* Hi all...here we go. When I went to the tracker to weigh in this morning I tried to set it for the 31st September...took me a full minute to work out what was looking wrong!  So, pinch and a punch for the first day of the month...and here we go on the challenge that's going to slide us into Christmas!

I'm in at 71.4 kg...nicely within my maintenance band of 70-72kgs.

Best of luck all, and may the fast be with you!
OK, here goes.
Weight aim: 70kgs
Increase exercise, especially now the sun shines and the grass grows.

Yes, this is where to post any weighings.. there will be only one thread to post progress and this is same thread that you initially introduced yourself @triphopmamma ive updated post one with your start weight.
I'm using my Libra trend weight from September 23, which was the last day I weighed. I'll weigh for a week during the week from Sept 15-Sept 21 as I won't be near a scale on Sept 22-25.

Starting Libra 7 day Trend Weight: 138.8 lbs

Goal Trend weight by Christmas Eve: 135.8 lbs.

With the visit to my son this past week and a 5 day convention with lots of already paid-for meals, I will be very happy if I can maintain this month or not gain more than a pound.
