p.s.
It would seem also that EVERY time i try and access the website on the i phone you have to reset the password or you can't log in! Not going to bother with the i phone at the moment its too frustrating!Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrg!
Throws i phone in hand bag! grrrrrrrrrr.

On my android it appears as though I need to reset my password, but if I close that window, and go to the menu option top right, I can login normally.

But I still can't use the site on my phone, as I cant resize the text, or find the layout we used to have that was optimised for a small screen (correct width, omitting sigs and avators etc)
moaning again...
had a trawl through and really don't like the cartoon people. are men the only maintainers? I find the cartoons stereotypical eg male with a computer tablet and female with a book....
and really don't like the font
love the yellow banner though
Oh dear now I can't resize the text small enough to read to the right hand edges
Of posts and I can't swipe the text to the left so I can read the text on the right
Either. I have rebooted the kindle. Wikipedia is working fine

Silk browser
Exciting indeed !
Thank you for stopping the Facebook pop up, but please can I ask for another change. I'm struggling to read the pale blue writing, (and is the font smaller?) and wonder if there could be an accessibility option? Or if there is, can you point me to it please!
One other thing: I've had to reregister (my problem, not connected with the site) and I wonder if it would be possible to link Annurca's tracker with my new name of Annurca2. This is obviously NOT urgent, but I'm putting @Moogie on this in the hope it can be passed to someone else for consideration. If not, don't worry.
Its gone bright yellow, oh my God!!!

ha ha
I don't like the font, I don't like the yellow banner, it doesn't look nice, it gets in the way and I definitely don't like the silly people. I think they are patronising. It all has a 'cheap' feel to it. Please can we go back to the old colours? The yellow is horrible. I know we have new pages and that is great but please could the forum be put back the way it was? I can't see that this is an improvement at all. Thanks and sorry to be a moaning Minnie.

I'm sorry but my own feelings exactly.

The previous blue screen /banner whatever I felt was very restful.........this..... oh dear
I just clicked on view my progress and it takes me to 'page not found'

I can see my tracker but it is all over to the left and although I am under goal it says this;

Total weight loss to date 22.99 lbs
Weight still to loose 0.389 lbs
You will hit you goal

What's all that about? Were they tired when they wrote this code? I know we all make shocking typos on here but it's not our job. I feel so sorry for Moogie, she has worked so hard over the past 16 months or so and now whoever she has commissioned to give us an even better experience has wrecked all her hard work. Can't someone have a word on her behalf whilst she is under the weather? She made a better job of it herself.

Oh, and why does the new logo look like a downturned mouth? Especially on the girls top.

I'd best shut up now before I get asked to leave.
Hi Paul

Just to say I too have to reset my password, but that's not a problem. All will become good. Hope the peeps are making you lots of cups of strong tea or coffee.

Great Job Fastday!
still no blogs. I wish someone would reassure me that they are coming back. Some people only did blogs and never posted anything else. It was a great record of the ups and downs. I would be really sorry if they were not part of the new forum.
Ah, thank you carorees, I see it now. There's a menu on the left.
When I log in the site gives me no indication that the log in succeeded, instead it redisplays the popup box asking for email and password. I assued I wasn't logged in, but when I click on the black silhouette at the top right I find that it knows who I am.

Also, whatever change you made since last night makes it so that on my Nexus 7 tablet the right hand portion of the page is truncated and I can't shrink the page to see it. As a result, I can't go to the next page on any of the comments, making it impossible to read the site on my tablet.

The page of recipes that has the thumbnails comes up on my tablet with all the text overlaying itself within each recipe's square so that it is impossible to read the description, too.

It looks to this elderly programmer like someone has hardcoded sizes in the html rather than using percentages when designing the pages. You have to use percentages rather than specific sizes to keep web sites useable on the wide range of screens available. Any hardcoded measurements will cause the kinds of problems you are seeing here.
Yellow is a difficult colour to utilise on a website in my experience. I think the use is quite "tame" and integrates well in the site. The percentage of screen space is quite minimal so surprised it offends so many here, or appears to.

The font does need addressing. I think its meant to be helvetica but seems to be showing as times new roman which is an ancient font from the 1900s. Particularly difficult in left column at the very small size it is.

Some kind of css conflict i guess.
I think I will get used to it here, realising that there will be tweaking by the clever and dedicated Team. The intention is to be more organised and clearer, but I will a have to spend time exploring once more on how to use the forum. I agree that the yellow is acrid not cheerful, don't like the logging in having to put email and password every time, but will learn how to leave myself logged in.....the Facebook pop-up, which had been getting on my nerves and wouldn't go away after several times choosing 'Don't show this again', seems to have finally gone away. It will all be fine in the end!
After initial problems with the yellow banner covering stuff up all is now hunky dory for me on a PC using Firefox. I stay logged in and I have never been bothered by adverts, That may have something to do with how my clever son set me up in the 1st place! As I get used to it I think it looks good. The only tiny niggle is that when I have been hibernated the 'read unsued posts' won't refresh and I have to go via the home page. The font of the menu on the left also seems a bit small to me. Thanks to the Team for all your hard work.
