That dinner sounds like heaven Gillymary!

To add to veg-enhanced-by-fat roll call :

Veg curry in coconut milk
Tomato, spring onion and avocado dribbled in walnut oil
Coleslaw made with full fat mayo
@Minumonline Dinner was lovely. Oh yes already do Thai curries so they are easy and wonderful with pinged riced cauliflower broccoli. Walnut oil drizzle yum

Still the bullet coffee is a goody too, I don't ratchet the butter and coconut butter oil to the volumes described. Currently enjoying 2 teaspoons unsalted butter and 1 teaspoon coconut butter oil in a home brew with unsweetened almond milk to taste. Sweeten with stevia. It's lovely

@debs if your recipe works will you share a link to recipe please
Certainly will, I shall experiment and let you know! I am off shopping in Port Hedland tomorrow with shopping list full of fat!!!

I have just refound the recipe, here 'tis
400ml coconut cream ( the recipe calls for light coconut milk, I have adapted!
1/3 cup chia seeds
2tsp honey
1tsp vanilla extract
1 mango peeled and diced
1 cup strawberries diced
1/4 cup sliced almonds
4tsp coconut flakes

Combine coconut cream, chia seeds, honey and vanilla and leave for an hour in fridge. In serving glass alternate mango and coconut and top with strawberries, almonds and coconut flakes. Serves four
Hi @Minumonline, just checked the protein content of one egg, since your figure seemed a bit high - used a few different sources, and the consensus was that one egg contains 6-7 g of protein, depending on size, making four eggs come in a 24-28 g protein. Unless you're eating ostrich or dinosaur eggs . So the news is not all bad!
Thanks very much jools7 - this isn't the first time MFP has duff values for waitrose food - I'm going to try and find an email address to point out their MFP figures don't match their labels

Feel better about my egg-intensive diet now
Picked this link up from Madcatlady in the Sugar thread. http://armadillokerfuffle.blogspot.se/2 ... l-fat.html

It is interesting that children that drink whole fat milk weigh less than those that drink skim milk, and that a quick way to fatten pigs is to feed them skim milk.

I wonder how long it will take to overcome the low fat brain washing we have been subjected to over the last 40 years?
