Yes, gillymary - funnily enough, my mum was actually a personal trainer (she is the complete opposite to me, a teeny tiny size 8, whose eating habits reflect 5:2, although for her I think it's probably more like 2:5!) and she told me that cardio is best to strip fat, whilst weights and stretches are vital for toning and shape - that's definitely the next step for me.
