Re: CHATTERBOX CANDY!!

I haven't been in here for a few days and I come on to look at the last few pages to see I've missed out on a lot of chat. Is anyone else not getting all their tags? I seem to have missed a few.

@rawkaren, that really is a lovely photo of you and yours and so pleased to hear that everyone is safe on the other side of the world.

@Manderley, he is a cutie. I am not a dog person but we have quite a lot of border terriers up here and they are just lovely. The ones I know are very obedient and very clever.

@Hazelnut20, a very belated happy birthday to you.

@StowgateResident & @CandiceMarie, job is going well and I am pooped. I'm on my feet for 7 hours with a wee break inbetween, I am also very active during that time. This is my second week and my feet, legs and hips are beginning to get used to it. I'm also beginning to get used to the job I'm doing and am starting to feel useful. It's that irony between wanting to learn something new and feeling stupid because I don't know what I'm doing!

It's my day off today and I feel happy and motivated, so hopefully a successful fast today. I'm off to clean the bathroom in a minute and then I'm going to empty the fitted wardrobe in our bedroom. I was just going to refresh the paint in the bedroom and get a new duvet cover but OH wants to refit the wardrobe as well and strip the bed frame. Anything I do in the house always seems to grow arms and legs when OH puts his tuppence worth in - 'well if you are going to do that then you would be as well doing this first'.

Pleased to hear that everybody above seems to be having a good time, with jobs, pets, family and friends

Very pleased to report I got 87.4% in my first assignment! PTC Basic Proofreading - the industry benchmark ... Now I just have to get 90% plus in my next 4 assignments to get a distinction    Must 'get tuit', as @PennyForthem would say

All is restored, thank you friends. We have internet!
We have been down to the farm for eggs and returned with 2 uniced freshly baked fairy cakes, too. As the hedgerows are laden with luscious blackberries, we are having them with black berry compote and orange liqueur. Oh, and we have been out for lunch. A big bowl of moules and punnet of twice cooked chips.
Back to reality next week! But before then, I have a biggish Seafood festival on Saturday, at which my 2* lemons will be making their appearance!

I'm just home from a gig at a Nursing Home. It was an "interesting" afternoon. The natives were restless. Sometimes the music soothes, sometimes it brings back memories. Today, it gave a bloke the urge to drop his daks. It seemed a bit ironic as it was as my mate was singing "Blowing in the Wind"!!!!!
