@wildmissus thank you!
Having managed successfully to never capsize when sailing, I doff my cap to you. I'd love to sail again, but only in calm waters - not always possible!

Oh I know what you mean, Candy. I always find the evenings just drag once I've eaten my meal. I try and keep the pudding until as late as possible...but it never works!

Well yesterday's fast and disastrous ending, hunger monster on full bore, has left me heavier today :0( unsurprisingly.
Time for a rethink/reset/re-something.
Today's grandsons have postponed until Friday so we're off out to play :0)
Have a happy day folks.

Mmmm, caramelized onions - just love them. And the 15yr old make great ones

Made rhubarb pie on Saturday - a total sour disaster = totally too sour puss...Ought to stick to the crumble instead of ordinary....

Hugs @PennyForthem, its always hard, but much harder to leave them suffering.

As for capsizing, i have managed to avoid that through most of my life, but have managed to capsize canoes, 3 times when white water canoeing. each time I had a different child in the canoe. Its got to the stage where the kids won't go white water canoeing with me unless they are in a different canoe.

I have got to remember on eating day's when low carbing that I have 3 choices. 1), the expensive low carb food (burger van type stuff), 2) the cheap and filling burgers with bread rolls, or 3) not eating. I couldn't go for 1, I did go for 2, and totally forgot or didn't think of 3. I can now feel my blood sugar bouncing as I am fridge and cupboard prowling, even though I know I have had enough food to last till a late dinner. The reduced price lychee's at the supermarket haven't helped.

@azureblue i think celery and hummus is a winning combo..
Youve just reminded me,ive got some celery soup, might have it for dindins with a roll and salad.
Been to hospital today with Beau. He had to have a gastroscopy. He was so brave, didnt complain or get nervous, didnt have an anaesthetic. BUT the fuss of not being able to eat after his large 7.30 a.m.Breakfast! No food or drink for six hours and you would think he'd been starved for months..in fact,it just meant he had a late lunch!
Good job for him he's slim and doesnt need to 5:2 ....i think he'd shoot himself!

Bleurgh, celery. There are two types of people on this earth, those that like celery and those that don't. I don't even kiss hubby if he's had celery within the last 4 hours, even then I make him brush his teeth and swill with mouthwash.

He thinks the same about peanut butter, so we have no kissing days where I eat peanut butter and he eats celery. Sorted!

Mmm celery AND peanut butter...
I am lucky enough to love them both.
I should be in the insomniacs' tent but I need to go to sleep.
